With these, we want to highlight 3 players who are similar in class and position. Get some time to dive into some quick thoughts, stat breakdowns, and film. – 5’11 PG 2023 – Norwell (IN)
Stats: N/A
Thoughts: McBride is a shorter lead guard with skill and little bit of flash. Lead guard by trade but plays off the ball real well too. Creative player on and off the ball and can really light it up if the defender is not careful. Quick release on his jumper with a lot of wrist action. McBride plays with a ton of confidence and is a player that is tough enough to compete with the larger guards.

– 5’10 PG 2023 – Indianapolis Pike (IN)
Stats: 9.0 ppg, 3.4 apg, 2.2 rpg
Thoughts: Woods is a shorter lead guard with a pretty high IQ when he has the ball in his hands. Plays with a hard, gritty tempo and gets to the rim fairly well. Outside jumper looks pretty smooth for the most part and he looks to be more of a pull-up jumper type of guy. Drive/finish or drive/kick is really his game though as he excels when he can be creative in the lane. Size does not look to be problem right now but continuing to get stronger will help his game out. Good amount of upside to Woods right now and interested to see how his overall game continues to develop.
Cade Brenner – 6’2 PG/SG 2023 – NorthWood (IN)
Stats: N/A
Thoughts: Brenner is a taller guard that can be playmaker at times. Combo guard right now but will be more suited off the ball in the long term. Pretty balanced game but think he is a little bit better playing as an outside threat where he can work off the ball and get a good look. His release from start to finish is pretty consistent on every shot. Need to see a little bit more of him but overall Brenner is a solid, reliable player to get points.
