A diminutive 5-9 lead guard, Noun Harder started every game as a freshman for the Hawks, averaging 11.1 points and 4.7 assists a game. He’s quick with the ball in his hands but needs to become much more efficient offensively as he progresses.
Willie Hodges Willie Hodges 6'2" | PG Aplington-Parkersburg | 2024 IA (Cedar Rapids Washington)
The 6-0 guard was one of the fastest players I saw last winter with the ball in his hands, and his speed can be game-changing on both ends of the floor. He gets others involved, is a good athlete who competes on the glass, and can be a solid defender.
Owen Larson Owen Larson 6'1" | PG Estherville Lincoln Central | 2024 State IA (Estherville Lincoln Central)
Larson is one of the smartest lead guards in the state, regardless of class. He plays with a maturity beyond his years, and he should establish himself as one of the best players in Iowa’s 2024 class as we progress. He handles it and passes well, gets to the rim, and is a capable 3-point shooter.
Brady Martin Brady Martin 6'0" | PG West Burlington | 2024 State IA (West Burlington)
The 5-11 guard played largely off the ball as a freshman on a veteran West Burlington team, and he showed off his shooting ability as a result, shooting nearly 44% from behind the arc. He moves well off the ball and is an equally adept shooter off the dribble or the catch. He’s a competent ball-handler and decision-maker who should have the ball in his hands much more moving forward.
Treyton McCain Treyton McCain 6'1" | PG Decorah | 2024 State IA (Decorah)
McCain is a long, athletic 6-0 guard who uses his length and speed to impact the game on both ends of the floor.
Jack Miller (Jesup)
Miller started all 23 games for the J-Hawks as a freshman, showcasing his shooting ability by knocking down 37% of his 3-point attempts. He’s a really good shooter off the dribble, and despite being listed at just 5-8, he’s able to get his shot off with creative footwork and a quick release.
Keysean Moore Keysean Moore 6'0" | PG Waukee | 2024 State IA (Cardinal)
Another solid athlete in the backcourt, Moore was a key contributor for the Comets, averaging 5.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.9 steals while starting for Cardinal. He can impact the game on both ends of the floor with his quickness.
