There’s no real schedule to go by, but PH was able to see some players and teams play during this time. Here’s a group of 2022 players who have stood out during this time.
Jeremiah Dargan Jeremiah Dargan 6'4" | CG Clayton Valley Charter | 2022 State CA-N 6’6 Guard of Clayton Valley Charter HS.
The transfer from De La Salle showed his versatile skill set. His point production increased, his scoring opportunities are coming from different areas on the court. He’s a long wiry player that can wiggle his way inside for buckets without much contact. He has good body control, and balance finishing inside. His off ball movement on the wings allows him to create shots for himself and teammates. He’s a solid ball handler, with good passing skills, his rebounding per game are up. He’s helped leads this team to a 12-3 record. 18.7pts, 8.9 rebs, and 3.1asts.
Aidan Braccia 6’2 CG of Sacred Heart Prep HS.
A steady riser in this 2022 class has been playing at a high level for a while now. He’s an high IQ player that gets the job done at either guard position. He see’s the floor well, with good patience facilitating on top. He has a consistent mid-range pull up game, with a good shot from 3. He’s a tenacious on ball defender. In 17 games he’s averaging 22pts, 7.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.4 steals per game.
Ameere Britton Ameere Britton 6'0" | CG Elk Grove | 2022 State CA-N 6’2 G/Wing of Elk Grove HS.
In 9 games Britton leads the team in scoring with 18.1ppg. He’s a confident strong guard who has the handles, and strength to create his scoring opportunities from different angles, a strong finisher around the basket. He’s has a good body at 6’2 to help on the boards averaging 6.1 rebounds per game. He’s a patient player that stays in the flow, and doesn’t force many. He’s a solid defender with good hands. 2.1 steals per game.
Alex Argandar Alex Argandar 6'0" | PG Modesto Christian | 2022 State CA-N 6’0 PG Modesto Christian HS.
Argandar was one of the most improved playmakers in this short season. He’s a quality ball handler, good vision, and is steadily improving his skills as a pass first facilitator. On a team with plenty of guys who can score. He was the one who delivered the right pass at the right time to the right player. He was the team leader in assists.
Aidan Burke Aidan Burke 6'3" | SG Archbishop Mitty | 2022 State CA-N 6’3 Guard of Archbishop Mitty HS
No flash just good hard work, and fundamentals. Burke is a steady contributor in some way while on the court for the Monarchs. He’s a high IQ player that is aware of what’s happening in the game. He’ll make you work for it on defense, and make you pay on offense if you slack off too much. He has a good shot from the 3. He’s been a solid contributor all season. In the Monarchs Championship win in the tough WCAL Title game he chipped in with 14pts 3 blocks, and numerous deflections, and steals that led to buckets for his teammates.
