The class of 2022 is stacked with a lot of guards. With those there are a few players who stood out as guys who can get it done on both ends of the floor. These players are great for coaches as they do not mind getting gritty on both offense and defense.

Xavier Harris Xavier Harris 6'1" | PG Horizon | 2022 State CO is the best guard defender in his class. He has long arms and big hands which allow him to pick the pockets of defenders. With that he also has great footwork and an athletic frame, this makes him a problem for opposing guards. On the other side of the court Xavier is a floor general who knows how to run a team. He lead his team putting up 16.3 points, 3.6 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.1 steals per game. When scoring, Xavier strives near the rim, whether that is layups or floaters. Xavier is one of those players with the lockdown mindset who college coaches should keep an eye on.
