The frontcourt class has loads of potential and has great opportunities to show their abilities. Some prospects who are flying under the radar look ready to take a leap up and hear their names more talked about. Here are the 2022 frontcourt prospects ready to take a step up in the rankings.
Tommy Conniff Tommy Conniff 6'10" | C Oratory Prep | 2022 State NJ , 6’10 PF/C Oratory Prep
Conniff has shown flashes of potential and has a chance to put it all together this summer. The 6’10 lefty knows how to get position down low and has a nice touch around the basket. Conniff is also capable of playing as a stretch big man with his range extending to the three-point line. He attacks the glass hard and is one of the better shot-blockers in the class. Conniff is just starting to scratch the surface of his potential, which should boost his recruitment over the next couple of months.
Dane Moran Dane Moran 6'9" | PF Lawrenceville | 2022 State NJ , 6’8 PF Lawrenceville
Moran is one of the more underrated big men in the class, which should change after the AAU season. The 6’8 forward has a good feel for the game and does not force many shots. Moran knows how to get position down low and can score with either hand around the basket. He holds his ground on post defense and is a strong rebounder. Moran is a solid big man who should have a strong AAU season before the fall starts.
Mark Woolhouse Mark Woolhouse 6'9" | PF Pennington | 2022 State NJ , 6’9 PF Pennington
Woolhouse’s stock has been on the rise for the past couple of weeks and it should only get higher as the days go by. The 6’9 forward is comfortable playing on the perimeter as he can bury jumpers from behind the arc. Woolhouse is more than just a shooter as he can also finish around the basket. He uses his length to swat shots and runs the floor hard. Woolhouse is receiving D1 interest after strong showings at Spooky Nook and it should only continue as the AAU seasons progresses.
David Luberoff David Luberoff 6'9" | PF Blair Academy | 2023 State NJ , 6’8 PF Midland Park
Luberoff received an offer from Georgian Court in mid-April and his offer sheet should grow by the time September rolls around. The 6’8 stretch four has a smooth release on his jumper and shoots the ball with confidence. Luberoff can also score in the post and is unafraid of drawing contact. He attacks the glass with a purpose and is one of the better shot-blockers in the class. Luberoff is a skilled stretch four who should be on the radars of more schools as the AAU season plays out.
Arterio Williams Arterio Williams 6'6" | SF Hamilton West | 2022 State NJ , 6’6 SF Hamilton West
Williams is a sleeper prospect in Central Jersey that should open eyes as the months go by. The explosive 6’6 wing loves to finish above the rim as he dunks the ball with authority. Williams has a strong frame which he uses to draw contact around the basket. He has the athleticism to defend multiple positions and is a strong rebounder. Williams has yet to reach his full potential as he looks to improve his game before the start of his senior season.
