The 1A DI Scenic Idaho encompasses a couple of small teams from northern Idaho, each with their own storied history. Each of these teams have excellent basketball programs and the conference games are always played in front of packed crowds. Carter Bailey Carter Bailey 5'11" | PG Wallace | 2021 State ID , Wallace: Bailey did a great job against all teams in the conference. His scoring ability was unmatched and he constantly put up more than 20 points and scored in bunches in contests when it mattered most. Bailey has a solid outside jumper that he uses to his advantage against defenders that fail to respect his jumper and close out shorter than they should. When defenders do close out all the way, Bailey is quick enough to get by them with a pump fake and a long first step before he cuts through the lane and finishes in traffic. Carter is also an underrated rebounder and did all of the little things for Wallace during this past season.
Kenyon Spotted Horse, Lakeside: Spotted Horse was a centerpiece for the Knights’ attack this season and he helped his teammates in a variety of ways. Offensively, Kenyon did a great job of scoring from all over the court and he paced his team on this end of the floor. On the other end, Spotted Horse was able to turn up the defensive energy to help Lakeside reach the state tournament after bumping up to play in a bigger division. Spotted Horse plays hard no matter what on both ends of the floor and his leadership abilities are very admirable. His teammates always look to Kenyon when they need direction, a big stop, or a clutch bucket, and he always delivers. Kenyon Spotted Horse is a proven winner and has left a lasting legacy for the Lakeside Knights.
