16U Standouts from Day 1 at Hustle in the Sun

<p>Day 1 of the Prep Hoops Circuit Hustle in the Sun event lived up to the hype! There were a lot of intriguing matchups and numerous prospects that emerged into the limelight! Here are some of the standouts I watched in the 16u division!</p> <p>Roosevelt “Tru” Washington, SG, 2023 AZ Select UAA: Tru was one of the best scorers in the building on Saturday scoring 20+ points per game. He is very efficient, knocks down mid-range jumpers with regularity, and has way more bounce than I expected! He led AZ Select UAA to a 2-0 start with blowout wins in both games.<br /> <br /> [player_tooltip player_id="969431" first="Kadyn" last="Betts"], Forward, 2023, P.L.U.T.O Prospects: Betts is a true blue-collar forward. He fights for every rebound, and practically did as I watched him grab about 10 offensive rebounds in a game! He has solid footwork and a very nice touch on the ball. Good defender.</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1076700" first="Exodus" last="Ayers"], PG, 2023 ABC Black: Every time Exodus plays outside of New Mexico he plays himself into serious consideration as one of the top guards on the West Coast. He is a dog on defense with crazy long arms, and is a tremendous passer. Can get to the lane at will, and has the ability to finish above the rim in transition now!</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1077598" first="Isaiah" last="Bronson"], PG, 2024 AZ Factory: Bronson impressed playing up in the 16u division. He has a smooth handle that allows him to get to his spots on the floor almost at will, and has the ability to knock down very tough shots!</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="831117" first="Arman" last="Madi"], SF, 2023 AZ Select UAA: Madi is one of those kids that immediately stands out on the court. The 6’6 wing is a solid ball-handler that can stretch the floor with his shooting ability. He caught numerous back door alley-oops last night!!</p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="831122" first="Vincent" last="Delano"], CG, 2023 AZ Select UAA: Delano is one of the best shooters in the event, I watched him hit 6 threes in a game! He is a solid playmaker with sneaky bounce that helps space the floor for a loaded AZ Select UAA team.</p>
