Notes from Coach Buster Vincent:
“We are off to a 7-1 start and are excited about the competition the SPTS has to offer this year. We have a roster made up of all SD kids and feel like we can continue to compete with some great teams here in the Midwest. The 16U class in SD has great talent spread throughout a few great programs here in SD. It gives me great joy to try and help the nine SD boys on this team try and grow as individuals and become better basketball players while giving them a platform to showcase their skill level while challenging them to grow as a team.”
“Bringing kids together from different programs is always a challenge with limited practice time and the athlete’s busy spring schedules. Our goal is to challenge our athletes to chart and stat their shooting and skill development while taking advantage of our trainers and workout opportunities we offer through the Pentagon. We hope to continue grabbing some wins throughout SPTS League play and position ourselves within the top eight teams of the League and a chance to compete in the Champions Bracket of the League Tournament later this summer.”
