Josh Dorsey, 6-5, SF (2021, Cross Creek)
Like CCHS teammate Devin Pope is both still available as was one of the day’s brightest performers, good size and frame for the 3-spot but plays a lot like a 2 as he can knock down the 3-ball with a fluid stroke and handles the ball pretty well, has a really good understanding of where to be and how to take advantage of things, can defend 3 spots and appears to me to be something of a steal still walking around out there.
Terrenice Streetman, 6-6, SF/PF (2022, Hephzibah)
Emerges from the Showcase as a must-see 2022 out of the Augusta-area, length like his with a motor that runs hot for hours is not a package in abundance, he attacked the glass and went after shots on the defensive end like a center but has the shooting stroke to step out beyond the arc and the handle to attack off the wing, hopefully garnered some attention from the coaches there and should see more of that going forward.
Sean Edewor, 6-0, SG (2021, Greenbrier, pictured above)
Turned a lot of heads and rightfully so with his powerful lower body and use of that strength at both ends, impressive too was a shooing stoke from multiple ranges that was the most consistent on hand, at his most comfortable spotting up or coming off the wing where he plays bigger than 6-0 with that stout lower half, handled the ball some but isn’t a true PG at this stage, excellent defender as well and displayed the kind of high IQ that coaches love, can add a lot to any program with this package.
Jaylen Blount, 6-0, PG (2021, Hephzibah)
Really impressed with the Hephzibah contingent on hand and 1,000 pt scorer Blount was perhaps the most college-ready player of that talented group, he plays like a pure point but has all the scoring chops to slide over and be really effective off the wing, big body means he can absorb and play through contact heading to the basket and physical-you up on the defensive end, yet another potential steal of a guard available.
Justin Lloyd Justin Lloyd 5'11" | CG Midland Valley | 2023 State SC , 6-1, SG (2023, Aquanis)
The clear shining 2023 on hand with tremendous length at only 6-1 he appears to be 6-4 or more as he slithers his way through traffic, loved seeing him attack the glass a rebounding wing and when he was looking for his own offense he played the classic slasher role in addition to being a terror off the break, guarded the ball as well as anyone on the day making it really tough to get anywhere near the basket.
Elijah Hall, 6-0, CG (2023, North Augusta)
Another 10-grader with elite athletic skills he unleashes that into strong and polished finishes near the basket, that’s where he was most effective driving it from spots or battling on the offensive glass, the frame of a running back makes him also a brutal match defensively as he can out-quick you or just muscle you further out.
Daniel Smith, 6-2, CG (2021, Heathwood Hall, Columbia, SC)
Showed off great versatility in the backcourt with a display of both terrific vision and passing and some creative offense, really good patience in how he made decisions to attack in the halfcourt or orchestrating a break, big enough to slide over and play the shooting guard but it seems a waste to take the ball out the hands of someone with such natural gifts as a lead man, can step in and help a program right away.
