We’re into the final week of the high school basketball season and only eight teams remain in each division. Two teams are left from the OK Conference as Forest Hills Northern and Grand Rapids Catholic Central hope to take one step closer to a state championship. Standing in their way are two teams with championship aspirations of their own in East Lansing and Benton Harbor. Below I’ll get into the top players for each team, matchups to watch, and my prediction for each game.

Division 1

Forest Hills Northern (17-1) vs East Lansing (11-1)

Game Info: Tuesday, April 6th, Muskegon Orchard View High School @ 7:00 p.m.

Forest Hills Northern enters this game after knocking off a previously undefeated Zeeland East team in a regional championship last Thursday. The Huskies trailed 18-2 in the first quarter before mounting a comeback led by Trinidad Chambliss Trinidad Chambliss 6'2" | PG Forest Hills Northern | 2021 State MI , Ethan Erickson Ethan Erickson 6'1" | SG Forest Hills Northern | 2021 State MI , Gavin Fisher, and Cole Rynbrandt. East Lansing enters this game having played far fewer games than the Huskies due to the nature of this season. The Trojans defeated Coldwater 63-57 and were led by Brevin Jackson’s 16 points.
