Desmond White 6’1″ Helias: The young combo guard has already emerged as one of the most dangerous buckets in the entire class. He can score from all three levels with creativity off the dribble and deep shooting range. He averaged 20 points, five rebounds and three assists a game while shooting 42 percent from 3-point range.
Kyan Evans Kyan Evans 6'2" | PG Staley | 2023 State MO (pictured) 6’1″ Staley: A do-it-all point guard who is firmly entrenched as the Falcons floor leader over the past two years. After starting on a Final Four team a year ago, he stepped into a bigger role last season and averaged 15 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists for a district championship team.
Ahlante Askew 6’2″ Republic: An outstanding two-way point guard who can impact the game at both ends of the floor. He’s had games where he’s scored in the mid to high 20’s with several 3-pointers. He’s also had others where he’s had a number of steals while taking three or four charges. He averaged 13.7 points, four rebounds and four assists while shooting 42 percent from 3-point range.
B.J. Ward B.J. Ward 6'0" | PG Chaminade | 2023 State MO 6’0″ Chaminade: A steady floor leader who stepped into a big role as the point guard for powerful Red Devils team that made another Final Four appearance at the state tournament. He’s physically strong with good handles and the ability to run a team. He can also make shots when needed a play well on the defensive end. He averaged four assists a game and shot 36 percent from 3-point range.
Arhmad Branch Arhmad Branch 6'1" | PG Festus | 2023 State MO 5’10″ Festus: A very talented point guard out of Jefferson County who led the Tigers to a 19-7 record. He’s quick with excellent playmaking skills along with the ability to score. He averaged 15.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, five assists and 3.4 steals a game.
Israel Randle Israel Randle 5'10" | PG North Kansas City | 2023 State MO 5’10″ Lincoln Prep: An excellent lefty young floor leader with very good quickness and passing ability. He can change directions on the dime and keep defenders off balance or just blow by them with his speed. He averaged nine points and three assists on a conference championship team.
Jack Steinbach Jack Steinbach 5'11" | PG Ladue | 2023 State MO 5’10″ Ladue: As a freshman, he fit in well with a strong senior class on a district championship team. He has the keys to the program now and he put together a big sophomore campaign, averaging 15.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.5 assists while shooting 41 percent from 3-point range.
Courtland Simmons 5’11″ Fulton: A powerfully built point guard, Courtland is the leader of a Hornets team that is full of talented young players. His physicality and athleticism are huge assets to go along with his high basketball IQ. He averaged 12.7 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.7 steals while making 35 percent from 3-point range.
Barry Thomas Barry Thomas 6'1" | PG St. Charles West | 2023 State MO 6’1″ University City: A smooth combo guard who excels with the ball or off the ball on the wing. He attacks the basket well and can knock down the mid-range jumper on the move. He will also hit the 3-pointer to keep defenses honest. He averaged eight points a game on a loaded U.City team during the season.
