For whatever reason, certain guys stay under the radar. Much as Prep Hoops tries to see every player in the state, we know there are a lot of great players that have escaped our attention, and haven’t gotten much love from any of the media across the state.
Here are a few players receiving all-state honors who haven’t gotten much publicity:

, senior, Augusta - 4A 2nd team:
The 6-foot-1 senior leader of the Orioles, who reached the state semi-finals, Parker plays smart and with a lot of versatility. As a senior, he averaged 13 points and 3.4 rebounds per game, as well as 2.2 assists and 1.7 steals.

, senior, Ulysses – 4A 3rd team (pictured):
It was a rough season for Ulysses, but Walker capped a fine career with 17 points and 10 rebounds a contest, connecting on over 40% from deep. The 6-foot-5 sharp-shooter received honorable mention as a junior.
Rylee Beach, senior, Tonganoxie – 4A Honorable Mention:
A slick and athletic 5-foot-9 guard, Beach led the Chieftans to high ranking through most of the season, until they ran into Miege in the playoffs. Beach led the way by dishing 4.3

Trey McClure, senior, Lyons - 3A 2nd team:
The 6-foot-1 guard is widely respected for the leadership and grittiness of his game. McClure is a prime playmaker and distributor, finding teammates for 5 assists a game.
Jordan Fudge, junior, Frontenac – 3A 3rd team:
One of the fastest rising players in the state, Fudge is also one of the tallest. The 6-foot-9 junior is athletic and possesses a lot more skills than just a post-up game. Still growing and still developing, Fudge had a big junior year with 17.8 points, 11.7 rebounds and 1.8 blocks.

, senior, Phillipsburg - 3A 3rd team:
Sides has been one of the most exciting guards in 3A for several years. As a senior, he averaged 16.3 points, 4.3 assists and 2.8 steals. Sides gets after it on the defensive end, crashes the boards and makes big plays with the ball.
