Murphy Blackburn 6’4 Graduating class 2023
Blackburn came out in week 3 on fire. He helped his team get a big win after four tough loses scoring 22 points and adding 5 rebounds. As only a sophomore this young man has a bright future. He is not afraid of taking his shot and plays smart for such a young player. He hustled on both ends of the floor and did all the little things his team needed. His wide and long frame make him tough to defends and as he grows and continues to devolpes his foot work he will be someone to watch.
Jackson Scott 5’9 Graduating class of 2022
Scott is starting out this season shooting 50% from 3 and has become a excellent rebound at the point guard position. He has great footwork on the defensive end and his quickness gives him the ability to shoot the gaps really well. With his team struggling to start the season he still plays his game and does the little things some player struggle to do when their team is not playing well. The next two seasons will be big for Scott and if he continues to play his game he will have a great senior year.
Blake Forrest 5’10 Graduating class of 2024
Forrest is a freshman guard, yes freshman who is already starting to make a name for himself. His very first game of the season he scored 17 points. He is fearless and looks well seasoned for his age. This last week he scored 10 points and added 7 assists. His vision and ability to find his teammates in incredible impressive. This is someone we need to keep our eyes on over the next four years because this kid can flat out play. He is quick and shifty, with a high basketball IQ.
Will Fleming 6’2 Graduating class of 2022
Fleming is another play who has started the season out strong. In his season opener he scored 21 points, added 9 rebounds and 3 steals. He is player who does a lot on the court that doesn’t show up in the stat sheet. He hustles on both ends of the court and understand that game and when to take his shot. This week he had a double double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. He is the type of player coaches dream about, he does exactly what is needed from him game in and game out.
