Talent is going to be through the roof at this event as some of the best shoe brand and independent programs in the Midwest will be coming together for a wonder showcase event. Let’s take a look at some of the forwardswings to be on the watch for.
Taj Manning, 6’8, Run GMC 2022: The explosive forward will be entering the tournament coming off of a monster weekend in Kansas city at the Recruit Look tournament. He put up insane numbers including a 19 point, 19 rebound performance and a 23 point 9 rebound effort as well. The big time prospect is a guards dream, rim running, rolling to the rim, and being ready in the dunkers spot to finish. The game is expanding as well and he is becoming more and more versatile as time goes on.
Isaac Traudt Isaac Traudt 6'9" | SF Grand Island | 2022 State #45 Nation NE , 6’9, Nebraska Supreme: Traudt needs no introduction, he is a top tier prospect in the country as a 6’9 versatile forward who can score the ball in countless ways, effect the game on the defensive end of the floor, and gets other guys involved. He is a great offensive rebounder which can be something that goes unnoticed in his game, but he is always a tip dunk or offensive rebound then finish threat. Taking guys off the bounce from the perimeter is another highlight of this top 50 prospect.
Brady Klotz Brady Klotz 6'4" | SF Royal Valley | 2022 State KS , 6’5 Forward, SSA Elite 17U Black 2022: Klotz has pieced together two tremendous weekends on the Prep Hoops circuit, averaging 9 points and 5 rebounds per game through 2 tournaments on 51% shooting from the field against high level opponents.. He has hit some big time shots, and has stretched the floor enough to be a solid pick and pop threat. College interest is starting to spike for the Kansas forward who will be looking to elevate his play matching up with more of that top level talent.
Brady Christiansen, 6’6 Forward, Lincoln Supreme: A very solid 6’6 forward with some game. He put together a every efficient Midwest Live weekend, highlighted with a 17 point, 5 rebound, and 3 assist performance in a win over OSA. He shot 6-9 for the game and 1-1 from 3. The talented forward can get the job done on the glass and has a great instinct for getting to rebounds up high above the rim, and on the offensive end can score those put backs at a great clip. He is also explosive enough to go get lobs and finish at the rim.
