The Titans might be back as Olympus High School returns a solid group of players and some young talent to come off of the rebuild. Jack Wistircil (2022) is one of the best bigs in the state as he uses his size and skills to overmatch most defenders. The freshman duo of Jordan Barnes Jordan Barnes 6'4" | PG Olympus | 2024 State UT (20224) and Dutch Dowdell Dutch Dowdell 6'6" | SG Olympus | 2024 State #310 Nation UT (2024) is too nice and their game is going to turn elite in a matter of time. This group doesn’t need chemestry they just need run to put people on notice.
Murray High School has had some growing pains but they have experienced some more maturity as their young talent has experience and their talent level continues to improve. Chudi Anosike Chudi Anosike 6'5" | CG Murray | 2023 State UT (2023) will enter his junior year and he has been playing at a different level. Jaxon Workman (2024) is another player that can shoot lights out that will get bigger and stronger. With their big man continuing to get better Bowen Davies Bowen Davies 6'8" | PF Murray | 2022 State UT (2022) could be a different maker as he is surrounded by some good talented guards.
One of the most talented players in 6A is James Rust James Rust 6'5" | CG Timpview | 2023 State UT (2023) James can do a little bit of everything and with a lot of scorers graduating look fo rhim to increase his scoring output. The question is who will step up in that talented pool of players. Timpview will need a solid Spring to get it going. Timpview High School will have a new coach as well. The Spring will be huge for them.
The Highland Rams are an intriguing team as tehy return a lot of talent. With players like Elijah Tolbert Elijah Tolbert 6'2" | PG Highland | 2022 State UT (2022), Ammon Kaufusi Ammon Kaufusi 6'6" | SF Highland | 2021 State UT (2022) and new talented player Sefa Brown Sefa Brown 6'5" | SF Highland | 2024 State UT (2024) this team has a some guys that can score and defend. They will also bea team that will be under a new coach which could spark this eam that has some talent into a contender. Highland High School will need to build chemestry as they will run a new system.
