These guys are good rebounders, passers, inside/out players on offense, can move their feet and guard multiple positions, and just overall reliable players.
Eli Sawyers Eli Sawyers 6'7" | SF Southeast Of Saline | 2023 State KS , 6’5, Southeast of Saline: Continued to show his development of his overall game throughout the year, Sawyers guard skills grew quite immensely this high school season, and it will be fun to see it on full display this spring and summer. He has the break leading ability, length and ability to distribute the ball to open teammates, and can score over length and size. His range and consistency on his jump shot continues to get better as well. He is a stat sheet stuffer for his high school team and expect more of the same for his club.
Aiden Lewin, 6’5, Lawrence: Lewin is probably a deeper under the radar forward who is biding his time on a deep and loaded Lawrence roster. He has a tremendous motor, good handle with the ball, and guard like ability to go with his athletic frame. He can get downhill from the perimeter and attack from the mid post area as well, and does a good job of making the right play from those areas. Lewin is a name that will blow up on the grassroots scene this year as he will have a much bigger audience than he had this season waiting his turn. He dominated at the JV level this year scoring from all levels. He has a comfortable feel stepping out and knocking down perimeter jumpers especially from the corners or pulling up off the dribble.
Jack Wilson Jack Wilson 6'6" | C Manhattan | 2023 State KS , 6’5, Manhattan: Seeing some quality varsity minutes this season and improving each week throughout the year, Wilson will look to continue his momentum into the Grassroots campaign. He plays extremely hard, rim running has improved, rebounding aggressiveness has picked up, and the smooth offensive skillset is still present. A high quality jump shooter from 15 feet out, can get to his left or right hand in the painted area to score the ball, and is a gifted passer from the low and mid post areas. Wilson has a tremendously high ceiling, earning All League Honors as a sophomore.
Will Anciaux Will Anciaux 6'6" | PF Kapaun Mt Carmel | 2023 State KS , 6’6, Kapaun Mt Carmel: The size, length, and rim protecting instincts of a 5 man mixed with the handle, transition ability, and burst of a guard, and you have the highly talented and productive Anciaux. One of the best players in the class overall, he gets this notoriety due to his ability to play any position on the floor on offense and has the athleticism to guard anywhere. He has great instincts on both ends of the floor and reacts to situations quickly. He can score off the bounce from the perimeter and in the post. He is going to turn some major heads this spring and summer.
Wyatt Spexarth Wyatt Spexarth 6'3" | SF Andale | 2023 State KS , 6’3, Andale: A lanky player with active long arms, Spexarth’s versatility really shines on the defense side of the floor where he can disrupt a ton of passing lanes, get his hands on to loose balls, and affect a bunch of shots. He can guard a variety of positions on the ball as well. the Andale forward on the offense end is a solid three point shooter especially off the catch, and can get into the painted area and finish with either hand. He plays with a good pace and energy about him and can effect games in a wide range of areas.
