Continue ReadingLast weekend major tournaments such as the MADEHoops Midwest Mania (IN); Hoop Group Pitt Jam Fest (PA) and PA Hoops Battle (PA) pitted southeastern Pennsylvania’ 15U (2024) grassroots squads against some of the elite national teams on the circuit. The results were mixed for the region’s grassroots teams, but there is a truck load of talented prospects on these rosters.
Below is the second edition of the Spring 2021 southeastern Pennsylvania’s 15U grassroots teams Top 10 rankings.
- Team Final EYBL: Team Final moves into the No. 1 spot after going 3-0 in pool play at the MADEHoops Midwest Mania. However, they lost in 1st round of championship bracket play to a very good Indy Heat EYBL team. TF squad shot 3-20 on threes and 4-12 from the FT line in the loss. That’s ice cold. Robert Wright III Robert Wright III 6'0" | PG Montverde Academy (FL) | 2024 State #35 Nation FL , Moses Hipps Moses Hipps 6'4" | SG AZ Compass Prep | 2024 State AZ and Mike “Deuce” Jones had big weekends.
- Philly Pride National UAA: At the Hoop Group Pitt Jam Fest this stacked roster was a little bit off, but still collected a 2-2 record. Jeremiah White Jeremiah White 6'6" | PF Imhotep Charter | 2024 State PA was a force all weekend. Keep your eye on scoring point guard Ryan Williams Ryan Williams 6'3" | SG Malvern Prep | 2024 State PA .
- Philly Revolution: After winning the ‘chip at the Zero Gravity Phight for Philly (average margin of victory was 20.5 ppg.), Philly Revolution had a BYE last weekend. This roster features Jalil Bethea and Josh Reed from Archbishop Wood. The Revolution are back on the court May 8th & 9th at the Big Shots/Philly Pride event out in Oaks, PA.
- Baker Hoops All-Stars: After winning the 10th grade division at the Mid-Atlantic Heat Basketball Classic (NJ), Baker Hoops AS had a BYE last weekend.
- Team Final Red HGSL: After racking up impressive wins in their first two weekends of grassroots action, Jake West Jake West 6'1" | PG William Penn Charter | 2025 State #193 Nation PA , David Fridia David Fridia 6'6" | PF Allentown Central Catholic | 2024 State PA and TFR kept things rolling with a 3-1 record at the Hoop Group Pitt Jam Fest. They collected nice wins over Team Premier and Team Loaded 757 (VA).
