Team Notes from Coach Brian Norberg:
“15’s are returning 7 players off of last year’s team. Along with the returning players, we were able to welcome 4 new additions to the team that will help add depth to our roster. We will have some very nice size on the front line to go along with some long-range shooters to complement our inside presence. As we continue to build our team chemistry and play to our strengths it will be fun to watch our progress. Unlimited potential with multiple players that will surely spark interest from coaches at all levels!”

Comments from Coach Brian Norberg:
JT Rock (2024) |6-11 F| Sioux Falls Lincoln – Unlimited potential with JT’s combination of Size, footwork, touch, and athleticism. He continues to grow into his 6’11” frame and seems to improve every time he steps onto the court. His big time frame is complemented by range out to 3 with a feathery soft touch. Absolutely dominate around the basket at both ends of the floor. Continues to work on and improve all facets of his game. Just scratching the surface and will garner a lot of serious attention all spring and summer! Played significant varsity minutes for Sioux Falls Lincoln as a Freshman. He has a Power-5 ceiling. JT will get to 7-feet, he is a lock D1 player that will play BIG TIME college ball.
Daniel Mitchell (2024) |6-7 F| Gregory – Long and athletic come to mind when watching Daniel. Absolute rare athleticism is on display every time he steps on the court. Range to 3 makes him very difficult to cover as his ability to attack the rim is unparalleled in most games. He will dunk anything and everything around the rim and poses a major problem for opponents on the defensive end with his shot-blocking ability. Started varsity and led the team in scoring in Gregory, SD. As Daniel continues to compete against solid competition he will continue growing in his knowledge of the game and will realize his potential. He will garner a lot of serious attention all spring and summer! He dropped 49 points in a game this season. Daniel is another D1 high major player. Expect him to get a ton of attention for Power-5 schools. “Daniel Mitchell” will be a well-known name amongst college coaches very soon.
Braeden VanBockern (2024) |6-0 G| Harrisburg – Knockdown shooter with good handles. He is definitely a player you can’t leave on the perimeter. Compliments his shooting ability with some solid ball-handling that allows him to run the PG position as well as the shooting guard. As he continues to grow and get stronger, he will only add to his lethal shooting ability.
Isaac Jarovski (2024) |5-11 G| Sioux Falls Lincoln – Smooth, athletic PG who moves very well without the ball and consistently finds ways to get to the hoop. Has the ability to finish around the hoop over bigger defenders. His athleticism allows Isaac to defend at a high level. Still tapping into his overall potential as he continues to grow and develop his overall game.
Jesse VanKalsbeek (2024) |5-11 G| MOC-Floyd (IA) – Solid shooter that continues to grow physically. Has shot up from last year significantly and looks to follow suit with his older brother as a physical presence.
Kohen Kranz (2024) |5-11 G| Watertown – Solid, versatile, smart player who can play a combination of positions. Very intelligent player on both ends of the floor. Always has a great feel of where he needs to be both offensively and defensively. Always competes with a winner’s mindset. He continues to get stronger and gained valuable minutes this past season for class AA-level Watertown Senior high as a freshman.
Lane Tvedt (2024) |6-0 G| Castlewood – Very good athlete with great range and very quick release. Loves to play in transition and sees the floor extremely well. Certainly, wired with a scorer’s mentality. Has the ability to defend very well due to his athletic ability. Continues to learn the game and get more comfortable on both ends of the floor.
Jamin Biteler (2024) |5-11 G| Sioux Falls Washington – Jamin is new to our team this year and will share the PG duties. High energy individual with great on-the-ball defensive ability, good handles, and shoots the ball well from 3. His willingness to compete every time he steps on the floor is his biggest asset. Looking forward to seeing Jamin grow as a player and help run the team at the point!
Nic Gaspar (2024) |6-1 G/F| Dell Rapids St. Mary’s – Very athletic with the ability to go up and finish well over the rim. Complemented with a nice stroke from 3. Not afraid to play physically and has the frame to bang down low or on the perimeter.
Jackson Brouwer (2024) |6-2 G/F| Sioux Falls Roosevelt – Strong, solid player who can play inside or out. Could be a major matchup problem for opponents with his versatility. A Hard-nosed player who won’t back down to anyone.
Nic Marshall (2024) |6-1 G| White River – PG with very good handles and court vision. Has the ability to get into the paint and thrives pushing the ball in the open court!
