Tre Marks – Indiana Game – Homewood – 6’4”
Marks jumped out at me from the tip off. He’s mature physically at 6’4”. His wingspan opens up a lot of doors defensively. An elite on-ball defender that can swallow up driving and passing lanes with his length. Can shoot it from outside, and can’t be stopped when he gets a step on his defender.
David Cundiff – Indiana Game – Munster – 6’1”
Cundiff could not be guarded in isolation today. He brought out everything in their 8:00 AM matchup. Has too much craft and change of pace to be left on an island. Advanced footwork down low. He could create for himself and others with just pump-fakes and pivoting.

– Indiana Game – Chesterton – 6’4”
Listed as 6’4” but plays center as a 15U. His prospects as a dominant big are high, as he brings raw physical skills and brute strength down low. Most surprised to see his shooting. Sims hit a few triples, looking very comfortable from the range. That versatility will be huge for him as his game develops.
O’Mare Segarra – Epic Hoopz – Dundee Crown – 5’11”
One of my favorite players this weekend. A lean, slashing forward overflowing with natural athleticism. Had close to 20 points on Friday and probably matched that Saturday morning. Thrives in transition because of his open-court creativity. Seems to glide when he runs, everything he does is smooth and graceful. Once he refines his half-court feel, there’s no stopping his scoring onslaught.
Reginald Ray Jr. – Team Ten Jabari Parker – St. Ignatius – 6’0”
Ray scored six quick points for Team Jabari Parker to start the game against Team Rose, setting the tone for the rest of the game. He’s bulky but still shifty and agile. Loves to use his spin move to get by bigger defenders. Needs work on his jumper, but his driving game is elite.

– Team Ten Jabari Parker – Curie – 6’4”
I’d love to have this kid on my roster. A player that lets the game come to him. On offense, he hovers around the mid-range and can hit the 15-footer when there’s no one covering him. Long arms and broad shoulders make him a formidable post defender. He often picks up driving guards and becomes a brick wall in the paint.

– Team Rose – Peoria – 6’3”
A fierce attacker with talent and grit. His first step is wicked fast, and it’s impossible keeping him from the lane when he’s determined to get there. He can shoot it from outside, but driving is his strong suit. A guy with loads of talent, but was streaky in his game today. He has room to grow into a very good prospect.
