Keynan Davis (Young & Reckless)
Davis is a long and rangy small forward that looks to have gotten taller and stronger since we last saw him in person. Feathery stroke from three knocking in a few along with displaying versatility defensively guarding an array of spots. Worth a look at the D2 level as an upside play.
Avyion Morris Avyion Morris 5'9" | PG Simeon | 2022 State IL (Young & Reckless)
Morris is a small point guard with big time heart. Love how vocal he is on both ends of the floor especially defensively. He gets right in the grill of his opponent and smack talks them for 32 minutes. Quick hands and moves so well laterally creating turnovers every game. Offensively he is a crisp passer especially in the drive and kick. Capable shooter when left open as a spot up guy and gets in the lane with quickness where he likes to utilize floaters.
Emondrek Ford Emondrek Ford 6'8" | PF Bloom | 2022 State IL (Young & Reckless)
Ford played limited minutes, but the Bloom four man is definitely intriguing. Thin and wiry lefty that had a couple quick moves around the hoop that he didn’t finish which he will once he gets in a college strength program. Quick to the glass and high points boards in traffic. Solid instincts on the defensive end.
Justin King Justin King 6'4" | PG Mascoutah | 2022 State IL (Illinois Bears)
Long and rangy 6’4” point guard has excellent physical tools. He has been among the top lead guards in this class of years. Rangy combo that can play on or off the ball. Displays solid passing instincts and has long strides in the open floor. What we made note of was the improvement of his perimeter game as he knocked down jumpers at a better clip including a pair of sick step back threes. Low-major prospect at this stage of the process with the chance to elevate.
Jack Seibert Jack Seibert 6'5" | SG Mascoutah | 2022 State IL (Illinois Bears)
Speaking of Mascoutah prospects Seibert was about as good as we have seen him during his career. The 6’5” small forward was super aggressive taking it off the bounce using his size to score through contact in the paint. Rebounded well. Moved his name into the high small college range.
Brady Moore Brady Moore 6'4" | SG Breese Central | 2022 State IL (Illinois Bears)
This Breese Central shooting guard is the heart and soul of his team. Does all the little things you ask of him from diving after loose balls, making the extra pass, and being a rebounder for his position. Sound mid-range jump shooter that can handle it some too as was shown on a take where he jump stopped in traffic for a layup. D3s or NAIA’s take a look here.
Elliot Lowndes Elliot Lowndes 6'10" | C Cobden | 2022 State IL (Illinois Bears)
Continue to be very intrigued with this 6’10” center from Cobden. Long and lanky build with projectability. Touch on a short jumper. Solid rebounder that will get better once he adds strength. Rangy shot blocker that has defensive upside!
Ethan Ivan Ethan Ivan 6'7" | PF Batavia | 2022 State IL (HIT)
Ivan is a plus pick and pop threat that can really let it fly with a feathery touch. He was automatic on Friday night when we caught HIT play. Drained them in the pick/pop, spotting up, or whatever way he wanted. Also displayed some improvement in his handles which makes defenders have to respect and not just focus on his three point game. Put it on the deck for a couple nice slashes including a left handed finish. Decent rebounder and switchable defender. High end D2 prospect.
Brady Heckman Brady Heckman 6'1" | PG Benet Academy | 2022 State IL (HIT)
This Benet floor general did a nice job of getting others involved. Pushes in the open floor and is a crisp passer both in the half court and open floor. Also got in the lane for some scoop shots.
Max Love Max Love 6'5" | SF St. Charle North | 2022 State IL (HIT)
Love is a 6’5” small forward from St. Charles North that is the ultimate glue guy. The lefty fits in wherever he is needed. Versatile combo forward is a capable spot up shooter that has a nifty floater game. Gritty rebounder and brings toughness/skill all-around.
Desmond Horton Desmond Horton 5'11" | PG Lake Park | 2022 IL (Kessel Heat)
Horton is a 6’0” combo guard out of Lake Park that gets in the lane making plays off the bounce, but was even more effective as a shooter notching three triples in his 16 point Saturday morning showing.
Joseph Valera Joseph Valera 5'10" | PG Grayslake North | 2022 IL (Kessel Heat)
Valera is a 5’11” point guard from Grayslake North that was a rock solid passer and quality shooter mixing in runners as well.
