The big Prep Hoops Live event got underway on Friday night in Kansas City. On Day 1 we got a look at some 16U action at the Convention Center. Here are some of those top standouts from the 16U’s at the forward position.

Brady Kuehl Brady Kuehl 6'6" | SG Parkway West High School | 2023 MO 6’6 Gateway-Knights: The Stretch 4 was one of the most impressive 3-point shooters on the first night as he scored 28 points in the Knights victory over the Chicago Titans. He was knocking down 3s off the catch and in transition with great confidence.

Dallas Bear 6’8 Iowa Barnstormers: The long hybrid forward came out of the gate on Friday night with a flurry of 3-pointers. One of them came on pull up from about 25 feet. He can also attack the basket aggressively and score in the low post with his size.

Cameron Stovall 6’5 Gateway: A very active combo forward who was very effective with slashing moves that led to layups and short runners. His activity was good as he worked the glass on both ends and even came over to block a shot from the week side.
