There are also a few that are going across the country playing against teams they would not usually play. With that said there are a lot of players that are really popping with their elevated play. Here is a short list of them.
6’4 G McCaden Adams McCaden Adams 6'3" | CG Pleasant Grove | 2022 State UT | Salt Lake Rebels | Pleasant Grove High School | 2022
Talk about a player that can score. McCaden can really play different positions and he can slash and shoot the ball. Efficient scorer that has a lot of athletic ability. McCaden has some length that puts him in great scoring situations when he goes to the rim. We would classify him as a scorer and an offensive threat at all times.
6’9 C Bryson Bailey Bryson Bailey 6'10" | C Skyridge | 2022 State UT | Hoop Mountain | Skyridge High School | 2022
It’s hard to miss Bryson on the floor with his slender frame. Although it might not seem like it but Bryson has gotten stronger. He is finishing quicker at the rim and getting tips and offensive boards. Noticed that he is finishing with two hands instead of one which works better for him as he finishes through contact. Bryson is still raw and he could be a player to find and continue to develop.
6’2 G Jake Fitton Jake Fitton 6'2" | SG Mountain Ridge | 2022 State UT | Kongo Elite | Mountain Ridge High School 2022
Jake is proving that he is an underrated player in the 2022 class. Had a solid year in high school and he continues to elevate his game and his scoring output. He’s been shooting lights out and he is stretching the floor as defenses have to come out and contest because he can really knock them down. Along with his shooting he can do a little bit of everything to help his team win and play at a high level.
6’4 W Sam Andrew | Salt Lake Rebels | Rowland Hall High School | 2022
Sam is a work-horse and he is especially tough on the defensive end. The kid rebounds and defends. Although undersized he can hold his own on the post. Strong defender that moves well laterally out in the perimeter against those smaller guards. Would have to say that he might be one of the better rebounders in the state at his size.
6’7 F Devin Carlson Devin Carlson 6'8" | SF Bingham | 2022 State UT | Utah Premier | Bingham High School | 2022
Devin is an athlete that can really get up and down the floor. He plays above the rim and he is a force at times on the blocks. Very smooth and effortless with his left hand and over both shoulders. Devin could be a lock for a high level D2 but could go higher to the right school. Would be a steal for a NJCAA team. He looks stronger and you can tell he’s been putting in time in the weight room.
