Here’s an effort to pick the Missouri 15U standouts from PH Live:
Joseph Graves Joseph Graves 6'6" | PF RUSH Homeschool | 2024 State MO , 6-foot-6 forward, Missouri Kings, Lighthouse Christian HS:
A big, powerful man in the lane, Graves can catch and score in a variety of ways. He can put the ball on the floor for a quick move around defenders, shoot a pull-up jumper, step out on the win, or crash the glass and clean up a miss. He anchors the Missouri Kings defense and goes after every board. He can run, is agile in the lane, and plays hard.
Blayne Harris Blayne Harris 6'4" | SG Jackson | 2024 State MO , 6-foot-3 forward, Gateway Basketball Club, Jackson HS:
Harris plays at top speed, but never gets out of control. He can turn a rebound at one end into an ‘And 1’ at the other end because he can slice through defenses and score through contact. He’s long and agile and has well-rounded skills.
Oliver Kokal, 6-foot-3 forward, Gateway Basketball Club, Parkway Central HS:
Harris’ teammate has a really solid post game. He scores with both hands, has jump hooks and turnaround fadeways. He can catch and score on the move and finish on the run. He can put the ball on the floor, and he fights for every rebound.
Adam Rickman Adam Rickman 6'6" | SF Borgia | 2024 State MO , 6-foot-3 forward, Mid-State Select, Borgia HS:
Rickman is an athlete who plays with grace and power, speed and skill. He has good size and the strength to get shots in traffic, and he is really effective running the floor. He has the ability to catch and shoot, put the ball on the floor, and defend a variety of opponents.
Colby Kiedrowski, 5-foot-7 guard, Between the Lines, Park Hill HS:
Keidrowski was a playmaker last weekend, knowing how to create opportunities and help others get shots. He is a solid ball handler and keeps his eyes up to find shooters. He uses his combination of strength and quickness to penetrate defenses and get quick shots off.
Second Team:
Isaiah Bickers, 6-foot guard, 816 Varsity, Liberty North HS
Melvin Laster, 6-foot-2 forward, Between the Lines, Liberty North HS
Bryce Mitchell, 6-foot-4 forward, KC Spurs-Black, Raymore-Peculiar
Josh Thornton, 6-foot-1 forward, KC Runnin’ Rebels, Barstow HS
