With the state playoffs having reached the semifinals, a lot of focus is shifting to grassroots season. Midwest Stampede 16u is a team to watch out for this spring and summer. They’ll be playing on the Prep Hoops Circuit so they’ll be seeing some excellent competition and gaining a lot of exposure. They’re a well coached group and college coaches will want to track their improvement.


Landon Justice (North Central-Ohio)

Justice is a high percentage scorer off the wing.

Ryan Tschirhart (Lenawee Christian) * Out for week 1 with a broken hand

He’s a talented guard with quick feet and good horizontal quickness.

Stockford had a really nice breakout season. He’s a versatile forward that’s developing into a difference maker.

Brandon Corder (Onsted) * Out until mid May with a leg injury

Corder is a talented player that is ready to make a statement come May.

Saunders is an energy player. He can line up against big time players and have an instant impact with his hustle alone.
