These guys from Kansas and Missouri brought effort, toughness and spirit to their 15U clubs in KC last weekend (in alphabetical order):

Blayne Harris Blayne Harris 6'3" | SG Jackson | 2024 State MO , 6-foot-3 forward, Gateway Basketball Club, Jackson HS:

Harris is a long, lanky wing who rips down rebounds and is up the floor in a flash. His ability to push the ball at full speed accelerates the tempo and creates mismatches and fast break baskets. He’s tough and doesn’t mind the contact that comes from his attacking game. Harris is highly skilled and smooth, but he doesn’t rely on his ability alone. He knows effort wins the day.

Jaxon Klein, 6-foot-5 forward, KC Spurs – Black, Blue Valley Northwest HS:

Klein threw his body around the court in KC with reckless abandon. His acrobatic shots often left him crashing to the floor on the end line. But he was right back the next time, ready to do it again. He is a long, springy who can shoot from a variety of angles, and goes high in the air for rebounds in traffic. By playing 100 mph all the time, Klein inspires his teammates to play hard.

Derrick McGee, 5-foot-7 guard, KC Runnin’ Rebels, Kauffman HS:
