In New England AAU and High school basketball there is a handful of very talented players that are good enough to play at the division 1 level, and are must see every time they play. Here we look at players in New England with Division 1 skills and potential.
Donovan Clingan Donovan Clingan 7'1" | C Bristol Central | 2022 State #61 Nation NLG , Bristol Central, Team Spartans, HT, 7-1, Position C, Class Junior
Donovan is an elite big man in New England, and in the country. Donovan is very dominate in the post with his size and skills. Donovan is physically so strong. He is 7-1 250. Donovan can finish so well in the post with both hands. Has great touch around and the rim, and is a very good passer from the post. Donovan is a great rebounder and a very good shot blocker. Donovan is a player that is a show to watch when he has the ball. Donovan had a huge high school season averaging 27 points, 17 rebounds and 7 blocks. True dominate post players are a bit undervalued in todays game, so If he got quicker and improved his shot that would help his game. Donovan is a high level recruit who has got offers from high level schools including Michigan. Speaking of Michigan Donovan really reminds me of Michigan star center Freshman Hunter Dickson. They both have the same built and a very similar skill set. The 2 bigs could be really good together. Donovan is a high level big, and has high d1 potential.
Max Poulton Max Poulton 6'4" | SG Rivers School | 2022 State NLG , Mass Rivals, Rivers, HT 6-5, Position SG, Class Junior
Max Poulton Max Poulton 6'4" | SG Rivers School | 2022 State NLG is a high level guard. Max is a 6-5 shooting guard. That is great size for a division 1 guard. Max has one of the fastest shot release I have seen in the gym. Opposing Defenders have to be so quick when closing out on him. Every time max takes a shot, he always get the ball right in the shooting pocket. He quickly then release the ball with great rotations, a high and soft release and finish, and his elbow in. Max shot at a very high percentage during his Junior season for a strong team at Rivers. He was 40 percent from 3, 58 percent from 2, and 85 percent from the free throw line. Max has a motor that just never turns off the whole game. He is constantly moving with out the ball. Max has as good movement without the ball, as any one I have seen play. You will almost never see him standing still on offense. He is always in motion cutting and moving without the ball. One thing max could do to help his game is getting stronger and more built. Max is a very hard worker, makes players around him better, and has a high basketball IQ. Max is always talking on defense and is a great player to coach. Max is a scholarship level player. Max has already got offers from mid major schools, such as Holy Cross. I think Max would do very well in the patriot league.

Arron has built up his frame an has become physically strong. Arron is a very skilled player who can pretty much do it all, and does not have many areas that he does not exceed in. Arron is an excellent defender who never sees a player he can’t guard. Arron can guard 1 through 5. Arron is committed to play basketball at brown next year, and should do very well in the IVY league.
Alex Karaban Alex Karaban 6'8" | SF IMG | 2022 #117 Nation NLG , New Hampton, Expressions, HT 6-7 position PF, Class Junior

In todays basketball a versatile 6-7 player who can shoot, run the floor, handle the ball, and score in the paint is so valued. Alex is getting nationwide attention from high level D1 schools, and has the skills to play at very high level college programs. Alex is one of the most officiant players I have seen play. He shoots at a high volume and scores so officiant. Every thing he does is with a purpose. Alex has really become a leader, and understands the game so well. Alex is a player that everyone wants to see every time he plays. Alex can guard post players and players out on the wing. Alex plays excellent help side defense, and is always talking on defense. For Alex, his size along with his skill and athleticism makes him so valued.

Reed has really raised his stock and made himself a high level player to watch. He plays high school basketball at Brewster academy.
