Quinton Hunter (Illinois T-Wolves 16U)
We mentioned Hunter in our new names story previously as the Lockport guard burst on the scene with a strong outing in Louisville. What we liked about the 6’1” guard was his ability to shoot it from his lead guard spot. Shot maker from all over the floor while also making plays as a distributor.
Sam Parrish (Griffin Elite 16U)
Parrish was a quick point guard that excelled in ball screen situations as a shooter, driver, and passer. Crisp handles allow him to get in and out of tight situations while always keeping his dribble.
Ondre Wicks (Griffin Elite 16U)
Wicks is a long and lanky forward that got to the line at a high rate in the game that we saw. Plays above the rim and crashes the offensive glass with a relentless nature!
Myles Colvin (INB Elite 16U)
This 6’5” small forward screams upside and projectability. Broad shoulders and is a plus athlete. That was shown off on a posterizing dunk where he went baseline and hammered it on his opponent with two hands. Liked how he handled in the open floor and rebounded in traffic with two hands.
Zane Doughty (INB Elite 16U)
Speaking of rebounding for INB Elite that is what this center excelled at. Doughtry flies in for rebounds grabbing them at their highest point and chased down several out of his area as well. Offensively he brings a nice combination of toughness and skill. Mobility in the paint finishing with touch. He also swatted a couple shots as well.
Tahj Meadows (Louisville Storm 16U)
Meadows is a thick bodied small forward who was the go-to player for Louisville Storm in the game we saw. Played physical round the hoop finishing dump off passes and pounding the offensive glass. Also took his opponent off the bounce on several shifty drives.
Khalil Roberts (TTG 16U)
Roberts is another wide-bodied wing that can score it from multiple levels. Drained several spot up triples from beyond the arc. Finished through traffic on crafty drives and got put backs on the glass.
Antaune Allen (Team Flyght 16U)
Allen was outstanding attacking off the bounce for Team Flyght. The Ohio guard was aggressive from the jump winning on straight line takes over and over again. Great burst with the rock in his hands. Compliments what he does at the rim with a sweet stop and pop jump shot from 15-18 feet.
