Ray Coney Ray Coney 6'2" | SG Fairfield | 2023 State OH , 6’2 SG Fairfield (OH) 2023 Cincy Fire Elite: Coney was a major bright spot for Cincy Fire Elite, scoring in a variety of ways. I was impressed with the increased ball handling workload Cindy showed from my last evaluation at Fairfield High School. I’m hoping he’s able to display this improved self creation next season at the high school level. Fairfield has a lot of talent projected to come back.
Antone Allen Antone Allen 6'4" | SF Dunbar | 2023 State OH , 6’4 SF 2023 Dayton Dunbar (OH)
Antaune Allen Antaune Allen 6'2" | CG Dunbar | 2023 State OH , 6’2 SG 2023 Dayton Dunbar (OH)
The Allen twins both shined for Team Flyght 16 U this weekend, displaying their impressive athleticism and driving ability. Each twin had a couple dunks in the two games I scouted and both players showed a good motor. Antaune is a bit more explosive of an athlete and scored a bit more. Antone is a bit bigger and uses his strength to score. Both prospects have very bright futures, I’d like to see them hit a few more jumpers though.
Matthew Arthur, 6’1 SG 2023 New Washington (IN) Southern Indiana Blaze: made some nice defensive plays with active hands in a 2-3 zone. Got a couple leak out layups and knocked down shots from the outside. Gave his team a big spark with an 13-0 run that he scored or assisted on 7 of the points.
Myles J Colvin, 6’5 SF Heritage Christian (IN) INB 2023 Elite: Colvin made plays on both ends using his impressive length and athleticism. Against the zone defense, he usually found ways to cut behind the defense to score. Playing on a team as talented as INB 2023 Elite, it’s refreshing to see a group of kids that like to share the basketball.
Dylan Doss Dylan Doss 5'10" | PG Heritage Christian | 2023 State IN , 5’10 PG Cathedral (IN) INB 2023 Elite: After a huge scoring outburst the night prior, Doss took a more complimentary role in this one. Shooting when open, but looking to thread the needle and get it to his bigs in the post. Showing the ability to score 20 points one night and then being a pass first PG is impressive diversity in roles.
Isaiah Knight, 6’3 SG Opelika (AL) Auburn Raptors 2023: Knight helped lead a second half charge with a relentless force. Knight gets downhill well to provide pressure on the rim. I also liked seeing Knight slide over and take a charge defensively.
Da’vioun Williams, 6’0 PG Auburn (AL) Auburn Raptors 2023: Williams got a bunch of steals in the second half to help bring his team back. Steals lead to easy fast break opportunities and can help swing a game in an instant. Active hands and hustle allowed him to get so many steals.
