Prep Hoops Missouri continues its spotlight features on grassroots programs with a look at the Missouri Hawks 17U squad. Last summer, this was a 16U team that played up at the 17U level in every grassroots tournament. All are Class of 2022 kids except for one.

Alex Benassi Alex Benassi 6'3" | PG Lee's Summit | 2022 State MO 6’3 Lee’s Summit: A Class 6 All-State point guard who averaged 11 points, five rebounds and four assists in helping lead the Tigers to the state quarterfinals.

Corde Brown Corde Brown 6'1" | PG Capital City | 2022 State MO 6’1 Capital City: A strong combo guard who has been one of the building blocks to Capital City's new program. He is strong on the drive and rebounds well from the guard position.

Owen Graham 6’8 North Andrew: An improving forward who averaged 12 points and eight rebounds in helping the Cardinals to a Final Four berth in the Class 2 state tournament. He is a skilled offensive player around the basket who can also pass and make  perimeter shots.

Alex Kramer 6’3 Lee’s Summit: A solid wing player who has a very nice shooting stroke from 3-point range.

Brycen Larue 6’2 Lee’s Summit: An excellent all-purpose guard who averaged 13 points, three rebounds and nearly two steals a
