One Player To Watch: Michael Eley Michael Eley 6'4" | SG Elevation Prep | 2021 State IN
Eley may very well be the best senior that has yet to commit in the state of Indiana. Currently, the Combo Guard from Elevation Prep sits at #12 in the rankings, and he holds offers from Ball State, Evansville, IUPUI, and Miami of Ohio. This is his one last shot to get a couple more offers to go his way, and I think he is going to make the most of it. He is the best player on this team, and he should put up buckets throughout the entire summer.
One Player We Need To See More: Jasper Campbell Jasper Campbell 6'3" | SG Shenandoah | 2022 IN
Campbell had the unfortunate circumstance of being on a senior-laden Shenandoah ball club that only played about a 7-man rotation. With being behind those great five seniors, we really haven’t seen Campbell play as much as we would have liked. This summer will really be his building block until possibly being the guy for the Raiders next year. Look for him to make the most of his time with D1 Indiana and be a potential breakout candidate next year.
One Player That Should Surprise: Noah Gordon Noah Gordon 6'5" | PF Mt. Vernon-Posey | 2021 State IN
Gordon has recently picked up two NAIA scholarship offers from Dakota College and Roosevelt University, and that was exactly what he was looking for in his last chance playing Grassroots basketball. The 6’7 forward has enough size to play the 4 or 5 while being skilled enough with the ball to play the three and possibly the two in the right system. Gordon flew under the radar a bit after transferring from Indianapolis Pike to Mt. Vernon (Posey) for his senior year, but the big man can flat out play.
