The 15U Utah Prospects went 4-0 and they took out the #1 team Atlanta Celtics that feature 4-Star 6’9 Jayden Williams who picked up an offer from Xavier this past weekend.
With multiple players on roster that played great ball this weekend on the final game of their 4 games 6’6 Brody Kozlowski Brody Kozlowski 6'8" | SF Corner Canyon | 2024 State #103 Nation UT was in the zone as he made 6 three-pointers in a row and ended up with 10 three-pointers in the game to end with 36 points in a rout against one of the best 15U teams in the country. 6’7 Paul Beattie Paul Beattie 6'9" | PF Farmington | 2024 State UT was making some great offensive plays with his various new moves under the basket. Paul was rebounding and just playing a solid role all weekend.
A few more standouts were Isaac Davis who had a few monster dunks and he ended the weekend with an impressive lob dunk in traffic. Isaac played well all weekend and was often undersized but it didn’t faze him as he kept running up and down the floor competing at both ends of the floor.
David Katoa David Katoa 6'4" | CG Layton | 2024 State #255 Nation UT the 6’4 CG was matching everyone’s athletic ability all weekend long. His competitive nature and drive were on full display as he is willing to do whatever it takes to compete at the highest level to help his team win. David was making shots from deep and getting to the rim and elevating. Impressed with his will to go out and try and haul in every rebound and loose ball. David is a top-notch athlete that keeps getting better.
Julian Bowie the sharp shooter from Idaho who is known to be a knockdown shooter was using the entire floor keeping defenders off balance, but he really impressed with his floater this weekend. Kid has skill and it shows why he holds Division 1 offers and a lot of interest. Keep an eye on this 15U team moving forward. They really made some noise against the best in the country.
The smallest player on the court most of the weekend played some big minutes and that is Ike Sutton who was running the offense with precision. Ike was not only getting the ball to where it needed to be he also provided scoring inside and out as he would finish against the trees and light it up from deep range.
