These players are all prospects that we feel can potentially on the next level with the right amount of work on and off the court.
New Life Christian & Team Pressure Guard Malachi Travis Malachi Travis 6'2" | CG New Life Christian | 2023 State NC : The sharp shooting Guard has plenty of the tools that you look for in a Guard prospect for the next level. At about 6’2 with a long wingspan, outstanding shooting ability and all the tools to be a great defender, he is one that you have to keep a close eye on. Once he increases his motor on both ends of the floor, we feel he will be a player that will start to move up the target list of colleges.
New Bern HS & Eastern Carolina Phenomz Guard William Brimmer William Brimmer 6'2" | CG New Bern | 2023 State NC : Over the past year he’s put together some of the more impressive performances of any under the radar player in ENC in the 2023 class. At about 6’4 with impressive athletic and scoring ability, it doesn’t take long to see why he is one that colleges are already keeping an eye on and is on tap for another bigtime spring/summer session.
Lakewood HS & Team DCBC Wing Kaleb James: Recently we got the opportunity to see him live at the Chase 55 Memorial and we left very impressed with what he can potentially be. The 6’4 Wing is a high flying prospect that can play above the rim but also showed some perimeter skills throughout the day. He’s another player that will need to increase his motor on both ends of the floor but there is plenty of upside to his game.
71st HS & Team NLBP Forward James Scott James Scott 6'9" | PF EE Smith | 2023 State NC : The 6’8 Forward has played his way on to the watchlist of D1 programs on the East coast with his outstanding play and upside. He has legit height, runs the floor well, can finish above the rim, blocks shots and is only scratching the surface of what he can potentially be. He will have to get stronger of course but there is plenty to like about a player his age and what he can potentially be in the future.
Cape Fear Christian & Team Loaded Wing Truman Claytor: If there is one player that we feel has helped his stock just simply off of the way he has changed his body, its Truman. He has transformed his body which has led to him being much more effective on the court and a tougher player to defend. Over the last few tournaments he has scored and rebounded the ball at a high level, which should help him work his way onto the watchlist of college programs.
