Pierce Arenz Pierce Arenz 5'10" | PG Kiel | 2024 State WI – 2024 – G – Wisconsin Blizzard
Arenz and the Wisconsin Blizzard just jumped all over Fundamental U Sunday morning. Arenz is only listed at 5-foot-7, but the kid can hoop. The Kiel standout is very quick with the basketball and difficult to stay in front of. He’s got shot creating ability in the halfcourt. When he gets up and down in transition, Arenz has some special playmaking ability for his teammates in the open floor. The lefty did a really nice job of attacking gaps hard, forcing defenders to leave their man, and finding open 3-point shooters. Very skilled, Arenz can go either way off the bounce effectively. Arenz scored eight quick points and had a couple of assists. By then, the game was all but over. He finished with 12 points in limited duty.
Robert Booker Robert Booker 6'7" | PF Waunakee | 2024 WI – 2024 – PF – Wisconsin Academy
The game got away from Wisconsin Academy in the second half, but Booker did some nice things against a very talented Meanstreets squad. The Waunakee forward is a big, physical body that can move. He also handles the ball in transition and is a terrific passer for his size/position. Booker had a beautiful dunk off a pick n’ roll, slipping through the lane and throwing it down with two hands. Playing against a long, athletic front line, Booker used his strength to power home a couple tough buckets. He also flashed his ability to catch in the high post, put the ball on the deck, and attack the rim. Booker finished with 14 points during Sunday’s loss.
Brady Corso Brady Corso 6'2" | SG Neenah | 2024 State WI – 2024 – SG – Wisconsin Blizzard
Corso caught fire late in the first half and didn’t slow down during a blowout win over Fundamental U. The Neenah product can put the ball in the hole in a variety of ways. He’s a good-looking shooter off the catch or off the dribble. Corso has a deadly sweeping crossover that gets defenders leaning. Corso then can either get right into his pull-up or go all the way to the rim. The lefty will probably play off the ball more of his career, but also handled the point duties for the Blizzard on occasion as well, depending on their lineup. Corso finished with a game-high 14 points in a contest that was over with very early.
Darrien Long Darrien Long 6'5" | PF Racine Horlick | 2022 State WI – 2022 – F – Gallo Sports Center
Long has to be super intriguing for a lot of schools. He’s probably a kid that’s probably not going to land a Division 1 offer coming out of high school, given that he’s such a tweener at 6-foot-4. However, Long continues to show very good flashes this spring. One of those guys that would greatly benefit from a JUCO stint or a prep year, Long is maybe the best athlete in Wisconsin’s 2022 class in terms of leaping ability. He’s also a long, strong kid that’s got all the tools you want from a measurable standpoint. Moving his game to the perimeter, Long is a much more confident shooter from all areas than he was a year ago. His handles are better as is his vision/passing IQ. Have liked the steps he’s taken this spring, not being solely reliant on his athletic ability.
Anthony Przybilla – 2024 – SF – Milwaukee Trailblazers
The son of former NBA forward Joel Przybilla, Anthony shot the ball well on Sunday against H.I.T. Pryzbilla is a quality floor spacer with a sweet stroke. He’s listed at 6-foot-1, but is a little lanky and plays bigger than his size. He’s not content with just being a shooter either. Przybilla will aggressively attack the offensive glass and create second-chance opportunities. He also cuts hard away from the ball and doesn’t prefer to be stagnant offensively. Przybilla scored a game-high 13 points in Sunday’s win to cap off the weekend.
Isaiah Robinson – 2025 – SG – Wisconsin Rise
An incoming freshman, Robinson is an advanced guard prospect playing up in 15U. Robinson hit some tough shots in Sunday’s win over the Michigan Goonies, sizing up his defender and letting it fly if they didn’t put a hand up. Listed at 5-foot-9, Robinson is a smooth and confident ball handler that’s not afraid to attack in tight spaces. Against pressure up the floor or while facing traps, Robinson went right at them.
Steve Tipton Steve Tipton 6'2" | SG Brookfield Central | 2023 WI – 2023 – G – Power 5
A new name that grabbed my attention, Tipton was solid in Sunday’s win over Fundamental U. A plus-length, athletic guard, Tipton did a great job of impacting the game defensively. He was terrific with his help and recover, often getting his hands in the passing lanes to deflect/alter passes. Thought Tipton erased a lot of his team’s mistakes defensively by being in the right place at the right time — a big reason by Fundamental U was held to under 40 points on Sunday. Tipton also knocked down a big 3-pointer in a one-point game that helped Power 5 push through to victory.
Willie Williams Jr. Willie Williams Jr. 6'0" | CG Racine Park | 2024 State WI – 2024 – SG – Wisconsin Rise
Williams is a real physical specimen that keeps his foot on the gas pedal every minute he’s on the floor. The Racine Park standout is a terrific downhill, isolation scorer. He’s got blow-by ability on the ball, a fearless mentality when attacking the rim, and absorbs contact very well or can adjust his shot in mid-air. Williams is also a prospect that likes to get up into people defensively and make them uncomfortable. A get-it-and-go type guard, Williams killed Next Level in transition, leading the Wisconsin Rise to a blowout victory on Sunday. Williams was it again in the afternoon as Wisconsin Rise also blasted the Michigan Goonies.
