Steven Solano, 6’11” C, Christ the King, 2024
Last year around this time Steven was “only” 6’4″ in the 8th grade. After his sudden growth spurt, the 6’11” big man is starting to figure out how to utilize his new size. The coachable Solano continues to improve on his overall game. The first thing I noticed was his improved coordination and balance. During the practice, the coaching staff consistently worked on the fundamentals with the long-term prospect. Steven currently holds offers from Virginia Tech, Bryant, and Nebraska. College coaches from around the country are starting to tap into his potential.
Tyson Clark, 6’2″ WG, Goshen HS, 2024
Tyson is a strong steady guard with an array of skills. The athletically gifted wing has the potential to capitalize playing off of Solano. He’s capable of being a solid two-way player. Tyson will assert himself as a shot and playmaker early in the season. He was able to control scrimmages with his ball-handling along with his ability to get downhill and finish in the paint.
Moussa Samake, 6’7″ F, Thomas Jefferson HS, 2024
Moussa is a long wiry bouncy forward with a ton of potential. The left-handed forward plays with a ton of energy and effort. Moussa has a soft touch around the paint but also showed glimpses of his potential stepping out 15-17 feet consistently knocking down the midrange jumper. His movement laterally and ability to defend multiple positions will keep him on the court.
