Elijah Jamison Elijah Jamison 6'3" | PG Liberty Heights | 2022 State #204 Nation NC | 6’3 Point Guard | Team Curry | 2022
Jamison did well in the backcourt alongside Caleb Foster Caleb Foster 6'4" | PG Notre Dame | 2023 State CA-S as Team Curry went 3-1 at Big Shots Carolina Live. He’s a prospect that’s proven himself as more as a shooter with the ball in his hands and is relentless getting to the paint and making things happen. As he proves himself more on the defensive end, look for his recruitment to continue to grow.
Cade Tyson Cade Tyson 6'6" | SG Carmel Christian | 2022 State NC | 6’8 Wing/Forward | Team Curry | 2022
Tyson is a prospect who’s stock continues to grow as a versatile threat on the wing and in the post for Team Curry. He’s an active presence on both ends that has a nose for the ball as a rebounder and rim-runner. He’s a solid trail man as well that can knock down outside shots. He put up 10.3 ppg including 17 points in their victory over Big Shots Select Winston-Salem this past weekend. He’s a name that should grow this summer.
Bryce Alfino Bryce Alfino 6'4" | SG Donda Academy | 2022 State NC | 6’4 Shooting Guard | Team Charlotte | 2022
Alfino was another prospect on the wing that fared well for Team Charlotte at Big Shots Carolina Live. He’s a two-way prospect that makes his impact felt with his length on the defensive and ability to knock down shots all over the floor. He adds depth to a strong rotation of versatile wings and put up 11.0 ppg this past weekend. His stock should grow as the summer grassroots season heats up.
Pharoah Lassiter Pharoah Lassiter 6'2" | SG Bethel | 2021 State VA | 6’3 Guard | Big Shots Elite Virginia | 2022
Lassiter showed no signs of rust from the recent pandemic with Big Shots Elite Virginia this past weekend. He was another top scorer in the 17U Orange division, posting 21.0 ppg while showing off his ability to get to the rim, create off the bounce and stroke it from deep. He put up 26 points to open the event against Defenders Elite 2022. Given his size and ability, he’s another LM DI/HM DII prospect in the making with room to grow still.
Po’Boigh King Po’Boigh King 6'4" | CG Word of God | 2022 State NC | 6’3 Shooting Guard | Boo Williams Carolina | 2022
King made his return to the hardwood this weekend with Boo Williams Carolina showing no signs of slowing down. He finished the weekend with 16.0 ppg as they went 3-1 on the weekend in the 17U Orange division. King’s got the ability to score from anywhere on the floor given his ability create off the bounce and fearlessness in traffic. He’s a prospect with offers already from the likes of Ole Miss and Arizona State. Look for more mid/high majors to get involved in his recruitment very soon.
Zeke Cannedy Zeke Cannedy 6'1" | CG Kings Mountain | 2022 State NC | 6’1 Guard | Team Hope Harrist | 2022
Cannedy was fearless at Big Shots Carolina Live this past weekend with the ball in his hands to the tune of 17.3 ppg. He closed out the weekend with a big 23-point performance against Carolina Shockers Elite while knocking down four 3-pointers in the effort. He’s a strong guard with a high IQ for making good decisions when the ball comes his way.
Brock Adams Brock Adams 6'4" | SF Lake Prep | 2022 State NC | 6’4 Guard | Team Hope Harrist | 2022
Adams was an impressive shooter in the Team Hope backcourt at Big Shots Carolina Live this past weekend. He showed his ability to space the floor and find his openings when Cannedy wasn’t on and firing and it made for a solid 1-2 combination, as he produced 12.0 ppg by the end of the event. He’s a new face that turned head with his size and unselfishness as a perimeter threat.
Caleb Maul Caleb Maul 6'8" | C Metrolina Christian Academy | 2022 State NC | 6’8 Forward | Team Hope Harrist | 2022
Maul is a versatile forward at 6-foot-8 that’s really coming along as an inside-out presence for Team Hope. He put up 8.7 ppg while showing off his ability to clean up the glass and shoot the ball. Even when his shot isn’t falling, he maintains his presence on the defensive end, especially in the paint. As he learns to make winning plays using his size and versatility, look for his name to grow in the 2022 class in North Carolina.
