2022 6-4 G Gaddis Heath Gaddis Heath 6'3" | CG Westlake | 2022 State GA – D-Favors Celtics – Westlake
One of the trendiest picks to balloon their stock this offseason is Gaddis Heath Gaddis Heath 6'3" | CG Westlake | 2022 State GA . He went to work as he led the Celtics past the Atlanta Timberwolves. Heath plays with good energy on both ends of the floor. He can be a lockdown defender on defense with his athleticism. He’s a very good shot blocker and has quick twitch muscles that help him jump passing lanes and change directions in an instant. Offensively, it’s his mid-range jumper which really impresses. The three-level scorer can create off the dribble and get to his spots with ease.
2022 6-5 F Jeremiah Flournoy – D-Favors Celtics – Salem
If you need someone to do the dirty work, Jeremiah Flournoy is willing and able, but don’t assume he’s limited to just garbage duty. Flournoy has a nice post game in which he can score with his back to the basket. He’s a physical presence that works on the glass and can affect games without having to have a post touch every trip down.
2022 6-2 G Mitchell Taylor Mitchell Taylor 6'2" | PG Westlake | 2022 State GA – D-Favors Celtics – Carver-Atlanta
Back with the Celtics, Taylor flourished as a table setter once he got on the floor. Taylor looks comfortable as a pass-first guard that is capable of getting 20 in a heartbeat if needed. Taylor plays with nice pace and knows where his teammates like to get the ball. He’s a threat to toss alley oops and when calling his own number, Taylor is gifted at getting to the rim. Even when he’s not scoring, Taylor is able to impact games across the stat sheet. He can do a little bit of everything with his versatility.
2022 6-8 C Sahmir King Sahmir King 6'7" | PF Mt. Zion Christian Academy | 2020 GA – D-Favors Celtics – Gainesville
A big bruising post that doubles as a highly regarded lineman, King is an interesting piece to the Celtics puzzle. He moves bodies with his bulk and must be accounted for on the glass. King has soft hands inside and is patient on the low block. He will need to keep his motor revved up if he wants to reach his potential and play at the next level. He can be plodding at times when getting back on defense, but when he is fully engaged, King can wreck games in the paint.
2023 6-4 F Rodrecas Rouse – D-Favors Celtics – Maynard Jackson
Rouse caught my eye with his effort on the boards. He crashes the offensive glass and has a nose for the ball. His activity in the paint helped send him to the line for five free throw attempts. His scoring came on layups and cleanups. Rouse has a solid body and has tools to work with moving forward.
