I now move onto the 2023 class who just wrapped up their second season at the varsity level (for most). Here’s a look at the current sophomores that experienced a productive month of April.

Michael Moore | 6’10 | Team Thrill
Moore has easily been the top stock riser this spring in the 2022 class when you consider he entered April without any high major interest or offers. After two events, the 6-foot-10 forward has received offers from Virginia Tech, Seton Hall and VCU. Moore’s motor, athleticism and versatility are all very intriguing at his size and solid building blocks to develop into a very effective player at the next level. Programs are starting to take note.
Cameron Whitmore Cameron Whitmore 6'7" | PF Archbishop Spalding | 2022 State #30 Nation MD | 6’7 | Team Melo
The top ranked played in our 2022 rankings has added two offers over the past week from Notre Dame and Penn State. After a solid showing against Team Final two weekends ago, Whitmore caught plenty of eyes at Pitt Jam Fest. His versatility and unique athleticism is starting to come to the national spotlight, so he shouldn’t see these offers slow down anytime soon.
Christian Winborne Christian Winborne 6'2" | CG Gilman | 2022 State #199 Nation MD | 6’2 | Team Thrill
Winborne has been outstanding this spring with his overall efficiency. Whether it’s making shots or creating for others, his decision-making has clearly stood out. The 6-foot-2 point guard has earned offers from Rutgers, St. Joseph’s and VCU over the last week.
Rodney Rice Rodney Rice 6'4" | CG DeMatha | 2022 State #89 Nation MD | 6’3 | Team Durant
Rice has been on a tear this month and is quickly proving himself as one of the top natural scorers in the DMV. Notre Dame is the only program to offer after a strong showing at Pitt Jam Fest last weekend, but Rice already boasts a recruitment littered with high major programs. If he continues to put the ball in the bucket at this rate, there may be a few more high major programs looking to get involved.
Quadir Copeland | 6’6 | Team Melo
Copeland is a fun prospect to watch because of his creativity both as a scorer or distributor. He has a great feel and anticipation with the ball. He fits passes into small windows or often times throws passes to teammates in no-look fashion that surprises everyone in the gym. He’s a tough finisher around the rim and can use either hand to do so. Copeland received an offer from UConn yesterday.
Judah Mintz Judah Mintz 6'4" | SG Oak Hill | 2022 State #131 Nation VA | 6’3 | Team Durant
Mintz has picked up his effort and productivity this spring. He’s been scoring from all three levels offensively and been a disrupting presence in the passing lanes off the ball on defense. From his strong performance over the weekend at Pitt Jam Fest, Mintz received offers from Penn State and Pittsburgh.
Rowan Brumbaugh | 6’3 | Prospect U
Brumbaugh has been very impressive against high-caliber competition. He’s clearly gaining confidence as a floor general and learning how to control the game at both ends from his position. His outside shot has improved drastically as has his quick twitch abilities when needing bursts to get by speedy defenders. His high IQ has been on display and as a result, Seton Hall and Mississippi State have extended offers.
