April AAU Fresh Faces

<p>The past couple of weekends we’ve been able to stream some AAU action and over the hours of watching games, we’ve spotted some new faces that we haven’t seen previously. Here are our notes on those players who will be ranked in their respective classes the next time we update rankings.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1174258" first="Zane" last="Bernhard"] (2021 Liberty)</strong></p> <p>High-energy combo guard that really got up and down the floor. Can score from the perimeter or off the dribble-drive. Very active on the defensive end. Playing with OBC.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1174261" first="Owen" last="Caudle"] (2022 Sherwood)</strong></p> <p>Tough point guard that really looks to attack the basket. Finishes well around the basket and is able to do so absorbing contact. Developing confidence as an outside shooter. Playing with Elite 24.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1169616" first="Morgan" last="Law"] (2021 Cascade Christian)</strong></p> <p>Shooter. Can really knock down open shots and also create a little off of the dribble. Takes care of the basketball. Was previously at Grants Pass. Playing with Oregon Prospects.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1069461" first="Kevin" last="Sanchez"] (2021 Crook County)</strong></p> <p>Aggressive combo guard who plays with a lot of energy. Can do a little bit of everything offensively and is extremely active on defense and chasing after loose balls. Playing with Oregon Prospects.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1079542" first="Nathan" last="Senatra"] (2022 Clackamas)</strong></p> <p>Lanky and lean post at 6-foot-9. Works hard to get position but currently gets pushed out. Can float outside and hit jumpers with a smooth stroke. Playing with OBC.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1169615" first="Clark" last="Sheehan"] (2021 Lakeridge)</strong></p> <p>Hard-nosed wing. Lefty can hit some jumpers with some range or create opportunities going to the basket. Gives good effort defensively. High-academic performer. Playing with Oregon Prospects.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1174265" first="Jaden" last="Steppe"] (2024 Tualatin)</strong></p> <p>Long, rangy forward who’s 6-foot-4 and possibly still growing. Active on the glass and also has a decent shooting touch from the perimeter. Learning shot selection and overall decision making. Playing with Oregon Prospects.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1169617" first="Brandin" last="Ziegler"] (2021 Grants Pass)</strong></p> <p>Bulky big man at 6-foot-10, 270-pounds who takes up plenty of space in the lane. Runs the floor fairly well and has decent hands and feet. Clears out boards in his area. Still developing offensively. Playing with Oregon Prospects.</p>
