ROSTER
Kendon Krogman [Eau Claire Regis] [ 6’4 ]: “Kendon will be Regis’s top and go-to player for the next two years. He is extremely lengthy and athletic with more room to grow. He’s very versatile and can score on any spot of the floor. His ability to shoot the three and score at the rim makes him very hard to defend. He can lock down the opposing team’s best player, while being able to play the 1-4 spots in our offense. He is the first one in the gym and the last one out, constantly working on his craft. He’s one of the top players in his class and will be turning a lot of heads to prove he belongs in that conversation.”
Cade Jungwirth [WI Rapids] [ 6’4 ]: “Cade is the most underrated player in his class. The Rapids power forward put up consistent numbers throughout their season and putting in big minutes as a sophomore. He is a big strong athlete who has the ability to shoot the three, and take you off of the dribble. This is Cade’s first year in the program and has already show the potential to make big plays in big moments. As he continues to put in work, he will be on everybody’s radar throughout his high school and AAU career.”
Max Marten [Mondovi] [5’8]: “Max may not stick out to you when you first look at him, but he can be very hard to defend. The 6’0 point guard has a very quick first step and the ability to go past any defender. He was a high motor and always makes the right play which everybody needs at the point guard position. With his ability to knock down the three-ball at a high percentage, opposing players always has to know where he is.”
Clayton Fanetti [Menomonie] [ 5’10 ]: “Clayton is one of the few complete players. His basketball IQ is second to none. He has the ability to make the right play and can see things before they happen. He knows how to control a game as well as be a leader for this team. He’s a very scrappy defender and can go finish on the other end of the court. He knows how to find the open man as well as create separation for his own game.”
Jeffery Ritger [Fall Creek] [6’3]: “This lefty has one of the smoothest mid-range games in the area. He was a huge part of Regis’s team last year. Being a pure shooter. He is the type of player that can take control of a game and get a bucket when we need one. Jeff’s inside-out game is very tough to defend with his ability to shoot at all three levels. With his quickness and size he can take you off the dribble or square you up in the post.”
Dawson Rud [Mondovi] [5’8 ]: “Dawson brings a spark every time he steps on the floor. Don’t let his size fool, as he brings toughness and physicality on the floor. He has the ability to guard any position on the floor. With his strength and quickness he is able to pressure the ball while also being able to switch. The lefty shoots the ball with a high percentage from three while being a lock-down defender at every position on the floor.”
Matthew Popowich [Bruce] [6’1]: “Matthew is a type of player who doesn’t know how talented he is. When he believes in himself, he is a pure shooter on offense. His ability to be a catch-and-shoot guy gives us the ability to stretch the defense. He is a true guard where if his confidence is there, he becomes a huge threat for our team. This summer will be a huge test for him where I think he will step up and shine in some big-game situations.”
Charlie Morning: [Menomonie] [6’2]: “This is Charlie’s first year with our program. He joined us last second and has already shown what he can do. You ask him to do anything and he will do it. He has proven he belongs in the program and I have very high expectations for him this summer. He can finish at all three levels and is constantly working on his game day and night.”
Tegan Ritter: [Cadott] [6’1 ]: “Tegan is the type of kid every coach wants on their team. He is the hardest worker and never gives up on a possession. He is a big physical player who isn’t afraid to take a hit and play through. He’s willing to do anything and everything you ask him to do, along with picking up his teammates along the way. He has really developed his ability to finish around the rim in a variety of ways. Still working on his mid-range, he has become a player everybody wants on their team.”
Chase Fox [Wisconsin Rapids] [6’0]: “Chase is the true definition of a point guard. He is the type of player that won’t stick out to you on the stat sheet, but knows how to take charge. He is a true leader and when the ball is in his hands he knows how to take charge. He makes the right reads and has a strong mid-range off the dribble pull up. Chase can change the tempo of the game by being a floor general, and handling pressure situations.”
Trey Mensing [Menomonie] [6’1]: “Trey caught my attention during one of his high school games in the winter. He has a pure jump shot that when he’s open, you know it’s going in. His lefty stroke makes him deadly from the three and mid-range. This is Trey’s first year with the program and has proven he can score the ball. The guard can open games wide open for us this summer when he’s got the ball in his hands.”
