Jeremiah Sem Jeremiah Sem 6'3" | SG Fargo North | 2024 State #303 Nation ND (2024) |6-1 G| Fargo North – Jeremiah is a 6’1’’ gifted athlete. Jeremiah gained a lot of varsity experience. He started in the state tournament at the end of the year. Jeremiah is a great O and D rebounder because of his athleticism. He is a gifted ball handler, and he has a nice touch from mid-range and the three-point line. He also has the ability to jump out of the gym.
Carter Zeller Carter Zeller 6'6" | PF Fargo North | 2024 State ND (2024) |6-5 G| Fargo North – Carter is a 6’5’’ aggressive big who is not afraid to bang down low. For his size, he has excellent hands and feet. He has patience in the paint and has an arsenal of shot fakes and counters. He finishes through contact and has no problem knocking down free throws.
Bode Hoeg Bode Hoeg 6'2" | PG Fargo North | 2024 ND (2024) |6-0 G| Fargo North – Bode is a guard with a high basketball IQ. Bode has no problem directing traffic and telling other players where to be and when. Bode has a knack for knowing time, score, and momentum. He knows who to get touches and when. Bode’s IQ and leadership will excel with the talented players around him.
Jacob Brandt Jacob Brandt 6'10" | PF Hillsboro/Central Valley | 2024 State ND (2024) |6-6 F| Hillsboro/Central Valley – Jacob is a strong 6’6’’ power forward who moves extremely well. He has nice hands and feet around the basket where he flourishes with his back to the basket game. He is a rim protector and a nice rebounder. His range extends out to the 3-point line.
Dalton Lamp Dalton Lamp 6'1" | SG Jamestown | 2024 State ND (2024) |6-0 G| Jamestown – Dalton is a smooth perimeter player with a nice jump shot that helps create his driving lanes. Dalton has a nice pump fake that makes it easy for him to get into the paint. Dalton is fundamentally sound with jump stops in the lane that leads to good decision-making, either finding open teammates or finishing over bigger defenders.
Isaiah Williams Isaiah Williams 5'10" | PG Lutheran | 2024 CO (2024) |5-8 G| West Fargo Sheyenne – Isaiah is a scrappy guard with the ability to pick up full court defensively. Isaiah is reliable with the ball in his hands and makes good decisions in the half-court. He has a nice touch from the three-point line, and about fifteen feet. Isaiah will be a knock-down shooter when his teammates create for him.
Daniel Yorke Daniel Yorke 6'1" | SG Fargo Davies | 2024 State ND (2024) |6-1 G| Fargo Davies – Daniel is a strong physical guard who lets his on and off-ball defense create his transition offense. Daniel has a long, low, and quick first step that helps him get past the primary on-ball defender. Daniel can extend his shooting range to three but prefers to drive and finish in the paint or, drive and create for others.
Drew Hofstad Drew Hofstad 6'1" | SG Devils Lake | 2024 ND (2024) |6-0 G| Devils Lake -Drew is another player that gained a lot of varsity experience this year playing in the EDC. Drew is a smart, and all-around solid guard. Drew is confident with the ball in his hands and gets his teammates into the half-court offense. Drew is a smart defensive player that knows his athleticism and rebounds extremely well from the guard spot.
Dylan Zimmerman (2024) |6-5 F| Moorhead – Dylan is a long athletic perimeter player who attacks closeouts and plays fast in transition. Dylan is an excellent off-ball defender that blocks shots when he is on the help side. Dylan has the ability to jump out of the gym and uses that ability to grab defensive rebounds and give his team second-chance opportunities on the offensive end of the floor.
Team Notes from Coach Cummings:
“We return five players from last year’s team that only lost one game last summer against some strong competition. This year, we assembled a different-looking but, talented group. This roster will allow us to put different combinations on the floor. One of our biggest team strengths is our length and ability to defend. We have long athletic guards and physical bigs that will grab every rebound. We plan to use our length and athleticism on defense to help create transition offense to show off our athleticism and make plays above the rim.”
