Jeffery Brazziel Jeffery Brazziel 6'4" | SF Martin Luther | 2022 #159 Nation AZ — Wisconsin Playground Club — SF
After not being able to play during the high school season due to the WIAA’s transfer rules, I have big expectations for Brazziel’s final run on the AAU circuit. The PGC star is a long, athletic prospect that has a huge upside. He is a dangerous weapon in transition that can score with ease when he gets rolling downhill. Look for Brazziel to make a name for himself this summer/spring.
Armani Jones Armani Jones 5'8" | PG Brown Deer | 2022 State WI — Wisconsin Rap — PG
Don’t be fooled. He may be small in stature, but Jones is as good as it gets when it comes to 2022 point guards. Playing for Wisconsin Rap, Jones will display his unique scoring ability. He is a shifty, fast prospect that defenders will have a lot of trouble staying in front of. If Jones is able to play at a high level this AAU season, I expect him to get a lot of attention from college programs.
Najashi Tolefree Najashi Tolefree 6'6" | SF West Allis Central | 2022 State WI — Wisconsin Playmakers — SF
Tolefree was very impressive last summer. His relentless effort is what made him really standout from my perspective. Tolefree was always sprinting up and down the court, diving for loose balls, blocking shots, and overall just being a great energy guy for his squad. Just by watching Tolefree play, you can tell he wants to win really badly.
Maximus Nelson Maximus Nelson 6'7" | PF Appleton North | 2022 State #236 Nation WI — Wisconsin Playground Club — SF
Nelson has a big opportunity this summer to prove to college programs that he is the real deal. Many people in the know have already recognized how talented the SF is, but playing well in front of new eyes will only help the A-North prospect gain even more college interest. This spring/summer, I expect Nelson to earn strong interest from many big-name college programs.
Carson Leuzinger Carson Leuzinger 6'0" | PG Hutchinson | 2022 State WI — Wisconsin Swing — PG
At just 6-foot, Leuzinger may be a bit undersized for the point guard position. However, what he lacks in stature, he makes up for with skill. The Wisconsin Swing point guard is a quick, smart player that can get into the paint and ruin an opposing team’s defensive gameplan.
Josiah Butler Josiah Butler 6'3" | CG Fox Valley Lutheran | 2022 State WI — Wisconsin Crusaders — SF
Butler had his coming out party last summer on the Prep Hoops Circuit. In a handful of games, Butler completely took over and led his Wisconsin Crusaders team to big victories over other talented squads. I think that if Butler can repeat his success from last season, then his stock will go through the roof.
Colin Hardrick Colin Hardrick 6'3" | CG Wauwatosa West | 2022 State WI — Wisconsin Playground Club — CG
While he does play on a 16U squad because he is very young for his grade, I would encourage college programs to not forget about Hardrick. The 2022 combo guard is a really talented scorer that can get hot in a hurry. Coming off a tremendous high school season, Hardrick will hope to find even more success this spring and summer.
