Comments from Coach Chris Buckmiller:
Edison Noll (2025) |5-9 G| Sioux Falls – One of the more all-around guards you will see play at the 14u level. Edison has the ability to knock down threes, get by defenders, finish at the rim, and guard the opponent’s best guard. A tough-nosed kid who does not get tired.
Luke Bruns (2025) |5-6 G| Dakota Valley – A familiar name in South Dakota basketball. Luke is the younger brother of All-State guards Paul and Isaac Bruns Isaac Bruns 6'4" | SG Dakota Valley | 2023 State SD . Luke is a knock-down shooter who also shows the potential to be a great mid-range pull-up player. He is also an extremely aggressive defender who takes pride in defending.
Braeden Feeldy (2025) |5-9 G| Harrisburg – A true point guard who sees the floor well and has the ability to pass guys open. His teammates love to play with him because he does an incredible job at giving teammates an open look. In addition, with his ability to get to the rim, he is a tough matchup for defenses.
Cruz Klundt Cruz Klundt 6'0" | PG Gregory | 2025 State SD (2025) |5-10 G| Gregory – Cruz is a great athlete who is a slasher offensively. He is tough to stay in front of and he is one of the tougher perimeter defenders around.
Maverick LeBrun (2025) |5-9 G| Flandreau – Maverick has one of the higher ceilings of any kid his age. A great all-around high IQ player who gets better every time he steps on the floor.
Ben Brooks (2025) |6-6 F| Madison – Ben is a player who plays with passion every play. He is big enough to make teams pay in the post and skilled enough to beat guys on the perimeter. When he draws in help defenders, his passing ability makes his teammates better. Overall, Ben is skilled enough and has the IQ to play 1-5 on both ends of the floor.
Shawn Hammerbeck (2025) |6-5 F| Winner – Shawn is an absolute force in the paint. At 6’5” 200lbs, it will be hard for teams to guard him with one defender. You will also see Shawn beating other bigs down the floor with his speed.
Trevon Beckman (2025) |5-6 G| Brandon Valley – Trevon is a pure shooter. If he gets any space to shoot, he can make defenses pay. He is also a high IQ player who will always make the right decision.
Maverick Nelson (2025) |5-11 G| Sioux Valley – Maverick is a well-rounded player. Not only can he shoot the rock, but he can take guys off the dribble in either direction. Be on the lookout for Maverick doing a little bit of everything for his team this summer.
Blake Aalbers (2025) |5-7 G| MOC-Floyd Valley (IA) – Blake is another knock-down shooter for the South Dakota Attack team. Blake is a fundamental player who knows how to play without the ball. You will notice Blake tends to be in the right place at the right time on both sides of the ball due to his high IQ.
Aidan Costain (2025) |6-2 G| Harrisburg – Aidan is a player who plays with toughness. When he catches the ball headed toward the rim, he is hard to stop. When Aidan is on the floor, you will see him getting his team extra possessions off the glass.
Team Notes from Coach Chris Buckmiller:
“This South Dakota Attack team has a little bit of everything. Players who can shoot, get to the rim, go to work in the post, and play tough defense. The chemistry is really starting to click more and more each time they step on the floor together. Every practice, each player shows up ready to learn and compete. This will be an exciting group to see as they are locked in to reach their potential as a team.”
