Lavonte Harris Lavonte Harris 6'6" | PF Pleasure Ridge Park | 2022 State KY – The big wing shot the ball well and showed the ability to get paint touches off the bounce. He’s got to stop settling for threes on offense but his ceiling is high. With his size and versatility on defense, he can switch multiple spots and provides some rim protection. Look for Harris to garner a lot of attention in the next few months.
Victor Lado Victor Lado 6'8" | PF Pleasure Ridge Park | 2022 State KY – A big bodied center, Victor has good touch around the rim and is able to finish through traffic. Lado has good positional size but could use the weight room to keep adding strength for when he goes up against other big posts. I didn’t get to see a lot of stretch from him, even in warmups but if he shows the ability to hit the 15 foot jumper, his college stock could take off.
Sam Powell Sam Powell 6'7" | PF Oldham County | 2022 State KY – Powell could be one of the more underrated prospects in this 2022 class. He didn’t get a ton of time or opportunities at Oldham County this year but he’s got a big body and high IQ as a stretch 4 prospect. Sam shot the ball well and showed an ability to get by defenders with crafty moves from the perimeter. The question coaches will have about Sam is if he can guard other wings. That will determine his ceiling but he looks like a future scholarship level player.
Cole Davis Cole Davis 6'2" | PG South Oldham | 2022 State KY – Another 8th region product, Davis showed his scoring ability but has also proven to be a facilitator as much as scorer. Playing on and off the ball, Cole can score from the wing or with the ball in his hands. He snuck out for some easy layups too. Davis is one to track as an 8th region player of the year candidate next year.
