One of the most underrated parts of the high school game, rebounding is a skill that can win or lose big games. I have seen countless teams win on a tip-in or make a shot after an offensive rebound that proves detrimental. Learning to box out and grab a rebound takes discipline and heart, both of which were displayed nicely across the valley in the 5A SIC. This list will look at the top rebounders based on their conference rebounds per game and some players had better averages than others due to the number of games played during this season. Jack Payne Jack Payne 6'5" | SF Boise | 2022 State ID , Boise: Payne averaged 9.1 boards per game this season and nearly averaged a double-double as a result. He proved that he can rebound on both ends of the floor and routinely grabbed offensive and defensive rebounds. Jack is a great fundamental player that knows how and where the ball will bounce once it leaves the rim and his knack for grabbing a board led him to the top of the leaderboard.
