With these, we want to highlight 3 players who are similar in class and position. Get some time to dive into some quick thoughts, stat breakdowns, and film. Today, we are looking at 2022 Forwards in Braedon Helms, Ethan Moistner Ethan Moistner 6'2" | SF Sheridan | 2022 IN , and Jackson Bobo Jackson Bobo 6'8" | PF Lawrenceburg | 2022 State IN .
Braedon Helms – 6’5 SF/PF 2022 – Fairfield (IN)
Stats: 11.3 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.4 apg
Thoughts: Helms is a combo forward that has a solid amount of athleticism. Real creative with his back to the basket and can beat you with his strength or craftiness. Prefers to score in the paint but can mix up his scoring 15ft and out from time to time. Has enough size and athleticism to mix it up on the defensive end as to what spot he can guard. Need to see a little more of his outside game because I think his best chance to play at the next level will involve him playing more around the wing and attacking the basket. Interesting prospect to watch this next year.

– 6’2 SF 2022 – Sheridan (IN)
Stats: 14.0 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 1.0 apg
Thoughts: Moistner is a shorter wing with a good amount of strength. High amount of scoring ability that prefers to score from the outside but can mix in a post score here and there. Handles the ball real well and has some pretty high on court IQ. He is not the biggest guy on the floor but he knows his strengths and is smart enough on how to exploit them. Tough player that will provide a team scoring on and off the ball.

– 6’7 PF 2022 – Lawrenceburg (IN)
Stats: 9.1 ppg, 8.8 rpg, 2.1 apg
Thoughts: Bobo is a long and lanky stretch 4 with a soft touch. Nearly averaged a double-double this season and can pretty much score at all three levels. Really good handles for a big man as he is real hard to stop if he is going full steam ahead to the basket. Great footwork in the post but needs to add more strength in his upper body. Athletically and fundamentally able to do anything on the court. Still plenty of improvement for Bobo to continue to work on but right now his size and high IQ are giving him the success he needs at this current level.
