– 6’7 PF 2022 – Elevation Prep (IN)
Stats: 21.8 Pts, 10.3 Rebs, 1.9 Stls (8 games at Lakewood Park before transferring)
Thoughts: Bontrager currently holds offers from Huntington and Grace, and I would expect him to get a lot more interest going into his senior season. He is a big player inside that can knock it down from deep and make moves inside with his footwork. He also uses his athleticism to get to the rim and score with ease. His move to Elevation Prep should help him as he did not play anyone that could stop him at 1A Lakewood Park. He should continue to improve his game, but he is going to be a probable low major Division 1 player going into next season.

Stats: 12.1 Pts, 6.3 Rebs, 1.0 Blks, 56% from the floor
Thoughts: Covey is a big man who uses his physicality to make plays around the rim on both ends. He is a great shot-blocker and can finish with touch around the rim. On the fast break, he can run the floor and finish on the run or throw it down with authority. In the post, he needs to develop some better moves to score the ball, but he can seal off any defender in the post. He isn’t the most agile big, and he doesn’t have the best footwork. However, these are not detriments to his game, and he still makes plays all over the court. He has the potential for an even bigger year next year, and he has a chance to be a very good Division 3 post if he improves going into his senior season.

– 6’7 PF 2022 – Northeastern (IN)
Stats: 12.7 Pts, 4.9 Rebs, 1.1 Stls, 58% FG, 38% 3FG
Thoughts: Foust is a big that is very tall and has a ton of length, and he has the ability to play as a point forward. He extremely agile and isn’t afraid to bring the ball up the court and run the offense. He throws it down with authority, and he uses his agility to get himself in better rebounding position on the offensive glass. Despite being this big, he really does not play inside that much. He can step out and knock down the triple. I want to see him improve his offensive game around the rim with some post moves and scores because as of now, it seems like the only way he scores inside is on dunks. He has the footwork, so if he can just work on his post offense, he could be a very big piece to a college offense in the future.
