Previous: 18 Current: 11
A lightning-quick 6-3 guard, Hermann led the Bombers in scoring at 16.2 points a game and showed his ability to make a major impact on the defensive end, swiping 3.3 steals a game as well. He has an excellent feel for the game and has a knack for jumping passing lanes, but isn’t too aggressive where he would leave his teammates hanging out to dry. He’s a streaky, but capable, shooter who is picking up interest from mid-majors.

Previous: 39 Current: 16
An athletic, 6-0 lead guard, Mackie ended his recruitment early by committing to DII Upper Iowa last year. He battled through an early-season injury and really came on strong late in the season, including a dominant 34-point performance in the Falcons’ quarterfinal win at the state tournament. He can score from all three levels and has good court vision.

Previous: 41 Current: 22
Fens was largely an unknown coming into the season, but he’s established himself as one of the better young big men in the state, and a high upside player who is just starting to scratch the surface. He’s a 6-10 mobile big man who runs the floor and protects the rim. His offensive game is still a work in progress, but he has good hands and good enough footwork to score on the block when he’s given the opportunity. If he can show an improved offensive skill set this summer, his stock will just continue to rise.

Previous: 46 Current: 26
Miller has always been one of the more talented scoring threats in this 2022 class, but he’s battled injuries during his first two seasons. He was healthy this year and showcased his ability to put the ball in the bucket, averaging 15.7 points for the 3A champions. A long, rangy wing, he has excellent range and a silky smooth stroke. He moves well off the ball and will contribute on the glass as well.

Previous: 50 Current: 31
An athletic guard with good size and length, Hutton stuffed the stat sheet for the Wolverines to the tune of 16.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists a game, while shooting nearly 51% from the floor. He’s a good athlete who thrives playing downhill and using his size and athleticism to get to the bucket.

Previous: 49 Current: 34
One of the most efficient players in the state, Van Essen, a 6-5 forward, averaged 16.9 points and 8.2 rebounds a game, with ridiculous 59-55-79 shooting splits. He moves extremely well off the ball, has great footwork on the block, and a pretty shooting stroke from deep.

Previous: 65 Current: 36
A 5-10 combo guard, Walter showed his ability to play both on and off the ball for the Hawks this winter, averaging 16.0 points, leading the team in assists, and shooting just under 38% from behind the arc. He can score and facilitate.

Previous: 76 Current: 39
A small-school scoring dynamo, Hammonds averaged 19.3 points a game for the Thunder, showcasing a much-improved perimeter stroke, knocking down 39% of his attempts from 3. He’s a smooth ball-handler who can get to the rim and has a nice pull-up game. We’ll be curious to see how he plays against the bigger, more athletic players he’ll see on the grassroots circuit this summer.

Previous: 61 Current: 41
Booth is a heady lead guard who is equally adept at scoring or facilitating. He shoots the ball extremely well both off the dribble and the catch, and he does a great job keeping his head up and finding open teammates. He doesn’t force shots, rather looking to get the best possible shot for himself or his teammates.

Previous: 78 Current 49
Griffin stuffs the stat sheet for the Indians, putting up 17.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, 8.2 assists, and 4.2 steals. But he’s not just a small school player putting up meaningless numbers, he can really play. He has an excellent feel for the game, knowing when it’s time for him to take over in the scoring department or when it’s time to get his teammates involved. He rarely takes a bad shot and he’s a menace on the defensive end, using his length to really bother opposing ball handlers.
