This past Saturday the CheckRock League, one of the Delaware Valley’s most competitive summer runs, hosted its 1st annual CheckRock 40 for 40 Invitational.

This invite only individual showcase event featured elite 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 prospects from various states. The 2021 and 2022 prospects were grouped into teams as where the 2023 s and 2024s. The event featured a round robin game format followed by Top 20 "all-star" games for each of the two divisions.

Below is a review of some of the 2024 prospects from Pennsylvania who participated in the 1st annual CheckRock 40 for 40 Invitational.

Elijah Duval Elijah Duval 6'3" | PG Bonner-Prendergast | 2024 State PA – 6’3” / Msgr. Bonner / Point Guard: The Russell Westbrook comparisons for Duval are very accurate. Duval is an explosive prospect who plays aggressive, downhill basketball at the offensive end. His scoring ability is excellent and he can be a force in transition. Duval will run with Team Final AAU this spring/summer.

Khaafiq Myers Khaafiq Myers 5'10" | PG Neumann-Goretti | 2024 State PA – 5’11” / Neumann-Goretti / Combo Guard: In 2020-21, Myers was a varsity reserve at NG who showed flashes of tremendous upside. Myers is quick athlete who runs the floor
