Taylor Cable Taylor Cable 6'1" | SF Ness City | 2022 State KS , junior, Ness City:
Cable led his club to the final four by putting up 22 points in a 53-41 win over Stockton. The 6-foot-1 Cable has been a double-double machine for a couple of years. As a junior, he is averaging 20.5 points and 14 rounds. In an impressive sophomore campaign he was good for 17.5 and 9.8.
Alec Carlson, sophomore, Pawnee Heights:
Pawnee Heights just slipped past South Haven 48-43 to reach the semi-finals. The 6-foot-1 Carlson tossed in 18 points in the win. Carlson is one of the top scorers among sophomores in the state, averaging 23.3 points to go with his 8.5 rebounds this year.
Wyatt Lange Wyatt Lange 6'6" | PF Clifton-Clyde | 2021 State KS , junior, Clifton-Clyde:
Clifton-Clyde was no match for Little River, losing 56-40. Lange put up a fight with 14 in the loss. The 6-foot-6 junior was remarkably consistent this year, scoring in double figures in all but a couple of games.
Ethan Means, senior, Stockton:
Stockton had its season ended by a 53-41 loss to Ness City. The 6-foot-3 Means scored 15 in his final contest. The senior averaged 16.7 points and 7.1 rebounds, and reeled off a couple of 28 point games.
Aaron Skidmore, senior, South Gray:
The powerful forward led his team to a 72-49 win over Pratt-Skyline to advance to the state semifinals. The 6-foot-3 football star put up 22 points as a junior, and is up to his same old tricks this year.
