Westinghouse hosted Lane Tech in a CPS contest on Wednesday night.  Check out what players made an impact in the Westinghouse’s 51-37 victory in our story Top Performers: Westinghouse vs Lane Tech!


Kier Jordan (Westinghouse – 2021)

Jordan was dynamic in this contest especially at the beginning.  The 5’10” point guard was unguardable in the first half as he got to the rim at will with his shifty handles while also keeping the defense off balance with his ability to knock down the three ball.  Speed in transition and was adept at converting difficult layups at the rim.  He scored 22 points in the victory.  Small colleges should definitely take a look here.


Gary Johns Gary Johns 6'6" | PF Westinghouse | 2021 State IL (Westinghouse – 2021)

Johns has a long and rangy frame with projectability.  The 6’7” post high pointed rebounds in traffic rebounding well both in and out of his area as he chased down quite a few.  Mobile in the paint finishing a reverse layup on one end and swatting shots on the other.  Bricked a few shots, but also showed touch on a baseline 15 foot jumper.  Worth looking into at the small college and JUCO level as he has developmental
